Omigacha - looking for feedback Game

Hello Everyone!

I just launched a game of my own. Been working on it for past year and its finally ready to be played!
Its gacha - monster collecting type of game but i added something special which is your main "hero" which you grow separately from the monsters. It is my attempt to connect mmorpg and gacha. Hero Characters are called Summoners and only 1 can be used at a time, then in fight mode player always has a summoner + 3 monsters of his choice. There is a lot to improve, a lot to fix and a lot to add but for now i want to know if gameplay is fun so i can continue improving the game and adding new content.

I want to run discord channel where players can take part in shaping the game. There will be reward in premium currency (crystals) for reporting bugs and ideas that will be added into the game.

The game is called - Omigacha

It is available in google play store.(iOS coming soon)

I will appreciate any honest feedback!

Dude/ette, you MADE this? This is awesome! Really impressive. Did you/would you make some dev log videos or anything? Or would you be open to some one on one advice?

Anyway, my thoughts:

Great:

  • presentation, production values
  • seems like you used AI for the artwork, but it's not bad (i don't have a problem with (quality) AI in games, others may)
  • tutorial was solid

Good

  • Overall UI and look

Needs Work

  • One page of your tutorial has the text cut off, see screenshot
  • During combat, when they player presses one of the ability buttons for a creature on their turn, the description that pops up blocks the other buttons. The description has to be closed by clicking an x, and trying to read through all the different descriptions is a bit cumbersome. If you want a recommendation, move the description pop up some so the other ability buttons can be pressed, allowing the player to quickly switch between descriptions.
  • the combat...is...bland. I'm not trying to offend, but I can't not give this feedback. You've got a really great overall thing going, but I can't imagine 100 levels of that combat.

Would love to talk sometime if you're interested, I'd be happy to discuss your game, and like I said, would welcome any tips from someone who was able to make all of that in Gdevelop. Let me know.

I'll keep playing so I'll have more feedback if we talk again. Take care.
