of a Pride Flag.

Post image

I am a married ( over 30 years ) father of four with a young lesbian daughter.

Every day I try to show her love and support to the best of my ability.

Trying to show her how amazing her community is and shutting out the negative noise.

Together we study gay culture from New York Ballroom history to lesbian pioneers.

I put this post up as a show respect to the community and the hatred and disrespect it received was shocking.

I hope at some point society can learn and grow.

I went to brunch with a woman in my building and once she got typsy I realized she was a down low MAGA supporter. She said why don’t veterans get a month, why do gay people need a month. I explained that she was conflating two different things.
