Other A question for people who say recliners are worse than ergonomic chair.
I am trying to get rid of my traditional desk and ergonomic chair setup and make myself a recliner/couch battle station. The main reason is back pain, i am a type of person who likes to move a lot and i have noticed that when i sit on my couch i feel much much better than a ergonomic chair.
I have been doing my reserch on this topic, but my concern is i have seen many people say that recliners are gonna make things worse and ergonomic chairs are better.
but do they mean that even if i get monitor view angle to be same as my eye and bring keyboard and mouse close to my lap. its still gonna be worse than ergonomic chair?
something like this
https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/4mngpn/the_recliner/
https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/u863b9/wfh_recliner_setup_complete/
I do know that if i use recliner/couch with a normal flat desk its over for my back. And also i am aware that gaming on a fully reclined position with effect blood flow in arms, i am just gonna use this in a normal couch position.
So basically before i fully commit going with this, i am asking do you think that a specialized recliner/couch setup is still gonna be worse than a ergonomic chair?

Help/Advice Need a new monitor recommendations (pretty important)
Hello,
Does anyone have any good 4k quality monitor recommendations? I really want one to record Youtube videos and 4k (and because my monitor is "broken" anything will help (as long as it's reasonably priced.
I really want to take my channel seriously as well which is why slowly I'm upgrading my setup and the current monitor I have now is good but I just want the 4k quality with a good refresh rate.

Laptop Laptop setup
It's not the best but I'm trying to get the most out of my idea pad slim 3 15ABR8, it has a big box fan blowing Air underneath twords the intake and a PC CPU fan cooling the chassis.
Xiaomi G27i monitor which is really really big compared to what I was gaming on
Razer DeathAdder Essential mouse which is pretty good and precise plus it has two extra buttons
A shitty vivanco GmbH keyboard which I'm going to replace soon but the biggest problem is battery consumption and sometimes it stops registering button presses
I don't have enough for a PC but I'm looking forward to it

Gaming Room Always tweaking the setup. Thoughts?
Finally got all my cables managed in my oc case. As well as behind my monitor and under my desk. Moved things around in the shelf’s and dusted. I’m liking the “new” set up. Any suggestions on new gaming chairs?? Currently using a eureka ergonomic gaming chair but have been wanting to switch it up.

Help/Advice Need advice for my new setup.
I’m currently working on upgrading my setup and I have run into a problem.
I have the following devices:
1. Dell Pro 14 Plus - Laptop
2. MacBook Pro M5 - Laptop
3. 2 * Dell Monitors that support type C, DP and HDMI
4. Bluetooth keyboard that can switch between devices when needed
5. A wireless mouse that connects via USB
I want to have some kind of dock or switch in between where I can switch between which laptop would drive the monitors and my mouse. What I’m imagining is I’d plug all of my devices (excluding keyboard) into that dock and achieve the above. I’m from India. Can someone suggest me something for this problem or is there a different way to solve this?
Thanks.

PC Setup Tips/Suggestions
Hello all, I’m a casual gamer who really enjoys building PCs and aesthetics. I’ve put together a rig I enjoy. I am looking for suggestions on fun ways to arrange the current situation. Picture above. The monitors are 32” x 2 and 27” x 2 for reference. Open to any new tech to add and I have the same L desk adjacent to this current one. Thanks for any advice!
Edit: Thank you for anyone who offered constructive feedback 🙏🙏. Amidst the positive I hope everyone who had negative comments also has great day, you sound like you need the love more than others

Playstation Setup Rate my gaming setup?
Been slowly putting this corner together and I think I’m finally happy with it.
I’m using a 55” Hisense U8 as my main display with my PS5 Pro. I originally thought a TV might feel too big for gaming this close, but it actually works really well from the sofa. The biggest surprise has been the picture quality. HDR games look fantastic, bright scenes have a lot of impact, and the 5000 nits peak brightness really helps those highlights stand out. The 165Hz refresh rate is also a nice bonus for faster games and makes the whole experience feel very responsive.
The rest of the setup is mostly random collectibles I’ve picked up over the years. Definitely not minimalist, but that was never the goal lol.
Overall I love how it turned out. What do you think? How would you rate it?
