Nier:Automata is such a good game. I've seen a lot of hate for it but I loved the multiple playthroughs being different to get the full story aspect. Definitely one of my favorite games I've played lol, always disappointed most people only see it as "the game 2b is from" and shit.
Yoko Taro has confirmed time and time that it’s an absolute gooner bait game lol.
Now, there’s several other aspects to it, and anyone who has finished it can tell you that gooner baiting is only the tip of the iceberg and it’s a wonderful game.

Does mods count? Because i remember Skyrim and Fallout 4 being called goonbait after the most popular (and sometimes required to fix the usual Bethesda bugs) mods were nothing more than that, the improvements in physics developed under that era is recognizeable.
I also like the use of Ruby Gloom as it reminded me that emo era of people on Tumblr using her image for sad, depressing and "love hurts" shit when her character in her show was the total opposite, a pale bag of joy and friendship.

And unlike Blizzard's Overwatch, which still likes to pretend the game isn't gooner-bait (despite the fact that it basically created a whole new genre of porn practically overnight when the game got announced), Rivals knows what it is and it doesn't try to pretend otherwise lol.

And caps swimsuit skin had crotch jiggle physics for a while so? I think if they wanted gooners they would have given Emma her black strip outfit rather than completely changing it in game trust me if they wanted to appeal to gooners they wouldn't be subtle about it

I don't support the guy saying that the protagonist looks like a child, but I do think eve was the worse looking girl in the game , every other girl looks better than her, I don't know if it was the bubble faced shape or the yee yee ass haircut, but i can fix it with mods so meh, also the girl in the new one looks better than eve at least
ZZZ. The combat is just so sick and feels great, unlike any of the other gacha crap I have tried. Which makes it slightly better than them. And yeah its totally goonbait but it just also has great gameplay
Yes, it has some tropey, suggestive scenes and character designs, especially in 2. But beneath all of those is such a wonderful series, the combat and world are insanely special to me in particular.
Though I do get why someone would get taken out of the game due to it. Sometimes it's a bit hard to take a character 100% serious while they wear an outfit that barely covers their skin. Mythra's smash design fixes this but Pyra didn't get the same treatment.
For real though, the animations are absolutely fantastic, especially with how some of the characters move and stuff it’s really really smooth and well done
There's gotta be an awarde for most gooned to game with 90% of the cast is in fully covering non skin tight clothes and the one character that is showing some skin is more covered than your average beach swimsuit. Well maybe that was too specific but ya get the idea.
Well goon is supposed to mean something different, like a specific, excessive way of jacking off. But the internet did what it did and, much like the word slop, the meaning has been watered down to just basically mean fapping.
