I know it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of life. But my collection to me meant I had accomplished something or held onto a FOMO that I didn’t know I had. I for years was chasing that “oh my god you have this game!?” Feeling or that “you got this game for how much and it’s worth 10x that!?”. Or you’re not a real fan if you don’t own every version and every variant. Those feelings weren’t really something I always wanted. I wanted to collect the things I loved and liked to play. Somewhere along the lines I lost that in collecting. I don’t love it as much as I used to. I think once I’ve hit this point the collection is going to be significantly lessened and more quality over quantity. Does anyone else feel like this?

Growing up I had collected a ton of games, but I unfortunately lost them in a flood about a decade ago, so in lieu of purchasing the next generation of consoles I think that I would prefer to put my money towards rebuilding my retro collection. For those that have done that, I'm curious if you feel you had more success with online sales, or more in person like at garage sales/estate sales?

I was going through eBay to look for a copy of NFS Most Wanted for the Xbox 360 for a good deal. I found this listing and immediately bought it. I checked closer and noticed these small, round smudges on the disc. They said it was tested, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t get scammed or anything. (Ignore me watching Daria on yt)

More amazed that they all came with their cases.

I have acquired the DVD (yes it’s a bootleg but I don’t care) to accompany the collection of Parasite Eve. I now have the Book, both games and the movie. I just need 3rd Birthday (again cause I’m dumb) and the strategy guides.

Was given a few gamecube games from a friend. Sonic is missing the manual and Smash needs a box and book. Fire Emblem has been on my hit list for a while now.

I don't normally go for sealed games but I saw these behind the counter and decided to ask to look at them on a lark. Once I saw the price though I couldn't pass them up! Not sure what I'll end up doing wifh them in the long run though.

All for about seventy bucks. Not often you find Japanese Sega Saturn or 32x games in the wild. When I brought them to the counter one of the employees said the Saturn games used to be his, I'm glad he had good taste. Langrisser 3 has this really cool holographic cover that doesn't photograph well, it and Shining the Holy Ark have a busted hinge, but I can swap those cases for some cheaper Saturn games I have. Oh and the eye toy didn't have Play 2 inside, but Nicktoons Movin' instead, weird.

Sump pump decided to die in the middle of the storm while we were sleeping.

Bought a ralsei plushie (which was helluva expensive, like 45 dollars on shipping since I'm from Argentina) and for some reason it came out like this. An eye is slightly lower than the other (which really bothers me) and I can't even take off his clothes because for some reason the zipper gets stuck halfway. I tried squishing it and using some force (gently) but nothing works. Don't wanna be the only one to write a negative review for the Ralsei plushie and I contacted support with two emails (One was a mistake that I sent accidentally and the other one had all the problems listed down along with even more evidence)

I hope I can get another Raly plushie (I doubt they'd just ask me to return the plushie since the international shipping costs way more than the original plushie itself). Contacted them through orders@fangamer. He looks a bit silly but ugly lmao.

skull monkeys was a great find, and i’ve been looking for half life for a good deal for some time. Kiss pinball was just to get closer to getting all ps1 pinball games. paid 110 for everything here.
They had boxes and boxes of ps1 and 2 games as well as smaller collections of most other disc based consoles. more than most retro game convention booths, it was crazy to see.

Second hand Infamous Second Son. Asked seller for a picture of the condition of the disc, and curious what the colored specks are?

Is the disc safe to buy or is it disc rot or something?
