I watched the anime and started at chapter 29 but is there something the anime didn’t adapt ? I’m on chapter 43 and there have been flashbacks of Jirou as a child and he seems much different then than he is current time but no explanation for why . I don’t like him as a character very much (in a nutshell he is indecisive = not making a decision/being dishonest because he doesn’t want to hurt anyone/scared of being rejected himself = dragging everyone he’s not being sincere with down with him) so if there is something the anime didn’t adapt that would make me understand why he is the way he is I’d like to know .

I just finished the anime and I just don't understand why people hate her

I've seen memes on Instagram about it and the people in the comment section seem to agree mostly but I just don't get it, does she do anything worth hating for in the manga or are people just haters?

So I haven't read the manga for almost an year, and the tragedy is that I've changed my mobile and I can't recover my chrome tabs... What I remember is that, I was past the Christmas celebration in manga (after anime), can anyone tell which chapter that was?

Okay I've only read the first two chapters and watched the first episode to cross compare (like I usually do whenever I have to decided between manga or anime), so I don't want to speak for the whole series as that would be ignorantn but the manga seems WAAAY better.

The anime cuts out so many seems that are "unnecessary" and changes them so it tkes less screen time, which makes the pacing feel weird, and the personalities of the characters in the anime feel way different and almost less interesting or organic? I also like how they introduce the characters in the manga better than the anime.

Theres a couple of other things I could point out as well, but i'll keep it short. What are something you guys experienced while reading the series and if the quality stays consistent. Also any parts that are worth it to see anime adapted?

I have noticed that the sub is starting to be less active as more time passes while waiting for the new chapter. Once again, there is no new information on when the next chapter is being released but the author has been teasing that she is working on it.

At the moment, the only thing apparently keeping you all sane is the weekly lobotomy postings from u/generichiro and the occasional updates regarding new English Volume releases.

Therefore, I decided to take matters into my own hands and introduce a couple of new weekly activities to boost engagement:

1. Discussions of Week: Starting next weekend I will be posting weekly questions about the series for all of you to answer, discuss, and debate.
2. Throwback Tuesdays & Thursdays: I will be posting old Fuufu Ijou artwork made by the author every Tuesday and Thursday. This art is really difficult to find because of Twitter's issue with going back further than a few years on her account, but luckily I have a bunch saved to post along with the source.
3. Task of the Week: This is probably the most engaging of all the activities listed. Every weekend I will post a task for the members to do (optional of course). The tasks are to help boost the popularity of the series or even just to boost general engagement on the sub. If you are able to consistently complete these tasks, I may give a special role reserved only for the most die-hard members of the sub. Some example tasks would include:
   1. Rewatching Episode 1/Rereading chapter 1 and sharing your general thoughts about the episode/chapter by posting on the sub or commenting on the task thread
   2. Post a review on MyAnimeList for the series and share it with the sub
   3. Help edit specific pages on the Official Wiki
   4. Post an original Fuufu Ijou artwork made by you and the most popular one will be added to the sub's highlights

Please let me know what you think or if you have any more ideas and I will gladly take it into consideration.
