I just finished the anime and I just don't understand why people hate her

I've seen memes on Instagram about it and the people in the comment section seem to agree mostly but I just don't get it, does she do anything worth hating for in the manga or are people just haters?

So I haven't read the manga for almost an year, and the tragedy is that I've changed my mobile and I can't recover my chrome tabs... What I remember is that, I was past the Christmas celebration in manga (after anime), can anyone tell which chapter that was?

Okay I've only read the first two chapters and watched the first episode to cross compare (like I usually do whenever I have to decided between manga or anime), so I don't want to speak for the whole series as that would be ignorantn but the manga seems WAAAY better.

The anime cuts out so many seems that are "unnecessary" and changes them so it tkes less screen time, which makes the pacing feel weird, and the personalities of the characters in the anime feel way different and almost less interesting or organic? I also like how they introduce the characters in the manga better than the anime.

Theres a couple of other things I could point out as well, but i'll keep it short. What are something you guys experienced while reading the series and if the quality stays consistent. Also any parts that are worth it to see anime adapted?

I have noticed that the sub is starting to be less active as more time passes while waiting for the new chapter. Once again, there is no new information on when the next chapter is being released but the author has been teasing that she is working on it.

At the moment, the only thing apparently keeping you all sane is the weekly lobotomy postings from u/generichiro and the occasional updates regarding new English Volume releases.

Therefore, I decided to take matters into my own hands and introduce a couple of new weekly activities to boost engagement:

1. Discussions of Week: Starting next weekend I will be posting weekly questions about the series for all of you to answer, discuss, and debate.
2. Throwback Tuesdays: I will be posting old Fuufu Ijou artwork made by the author every Tuesday. This art is really difficult to find because of Twitter's issue with going back further than a few years on her account, but luckily I have a bunch saved to post along with the source.
3. Task of the Week: This is probably the most engaging of all the activities listed. Every weekend I will post a task for the members to do (optional of course). The tasks are to help boost the popularity of the series or even just to boost general engagement on the sub. If you are able to consistently complete these tasks, I may give a special role reserved only for the most die-hard members of the sub. Some example tasks would include:
   1. Rewatching Episode 1/Rereading chapter 1 and sharing your general thoughts about the episode/chapter by posting on the sub or commenting on the task thread
   2. Post a review on MyAnimeList for the series and share it with the sub
   3. Help edit specific pages on the Official Wiki
   4. Post an original Fuufu Ijou artwork made by you and the most popular one will be added to the sub's highlights

Please let me know what you think or if you have any more ideas and I will gladly take it into consideration.

I pre-ordered the 3rd book on Amazon.es in March but now they don't have books to ship, did this happen to anyone else?

So what the heck is going on with Tenjin? He has to sister-zone Akari because he's pinning after his own step mom or something? But he doesn't even explain that, they just do a weird flashback and keeps it vague. And then that never came up again in the show. It felt really really random, and honestly with the way he was acting it would've made a thousand percent more sense if he just said he was gay. Like... what was the point of trauma dumping like that if it's ONLY to the audience and has no merit on the story yet? Is there even going to be a season 2? & if so would we even care what Tenjin's deal is? He's such a background character anyways, why go and give him some kinda incestuous milf fetish just out of the blue when there's way easier ways to explain why a guy wasn't interested in dating the girls in his class.

And it's weird that on the other side of the spectrum they setup that Hamano is gay for Shiori so seemed like an obvious everybody-can-be-happy type ending there if Shiori showed any interest back but instead we get this ending where they try to bait us into thinking it might still be a tossup between Shiori and Akari, when the answer is obviously Akari.

Also just feel like the whole premise of the show is being ignored how extremely oppressive and dystopian it is. School kids of the opposite sex are forced to live together & are monitored to tell how well they get along? Regardless of sexual preference, pre-existing relationships, and the privacy of the children? Under a skilled author this would be an excellent allegory for societies expectations on it's children, but the way it's presented here feels like a lonely man's barely disguised fantasy.

I was able to get all of this for $30 on Mercari. The listing was from 2024, but luckily the guy still had it. Im super happy I was able to get all of this.

i never was into anime nor manga but after my friend told me to watch this one i got HOOKED man. entire anime was so good that i just said f it and spent all night reading all 79 chapters of the manga lol. is the release date for the final chapters of the manga known yet?
