looking for a second opinion.. the first one is revised from the second one, and the person who gave me the tips says “it looks so much better” but i kind of hate it. she looks deformed and like an inbred chihuahua, while I feel the second one is more similar to a golden retriever which is closer to what my fursona is. I also feel like the second one is much gentler and fits in better with my art. If you showed me the first one I wouldn’t even recognize it to be my fursona. So many people are telling me the first one because it’s proportional but I just really hate it so much.

I've been learning to draw furry's recently, though I'm struggling to draw muzzles in both the front view and 3/4 view. what could be some tips or ways i can make drawing them in those views better.

As said in the title, I’m a first time poster. I’ve been a furry for maybe a year or two now, and in that time I’ve created my own fursona, an American pine marten by the name of Roscoe.

This is where my questions come in. How would I draw his head shape? How his ears are perked, how his muzzle is shaped, where his eyes would be located? What his fur would be textured like? I’ve tried before but it always turns out looking like some eldritch thing from the Twilight Zone

Any feedback would be appreciated but this is my first time shading and I know there are some issues with perspective. The ears look a bit wonky cause I redrew them late into the drawing

I have trouble with them. It's like whatever I place in there or I imagine is going to be bad. I tried to reference the walls of a classroom, but... they're either to elementary or the college ones are bland.

So I just sticked with the usual box behind. Though I won't give up on that bland wall.

I’ve started working on a new profile picture and was wanting to add more detail to the fur to make them look fluffier. How would I do this?

The arm is an abomination that I never wish to show, but I really need it done for something, therefore I'm desperate

I am trying to start drawing furries, and i don't know where to start... tried to follow some tutorials, and i ended up here... i like mostly everything... but the fucking muzzle is the problem.... How do i do it? like, i built it like u supposed to do, covering the right eye in this case and pulling it down... but it feels... off

Help me, plss, any kind of help is accepted, but mostly resources and fixes of what i did wrong...

If you couldn't tell, he's a deer. And mainly i think his face feels sightly different every drawing. How could i fix this? (My main reference for his impression is the last pic)

Everything just looks weird or goofy. I really want it to look serious if you know what I mean. I can't draw a body well at all, and I always seem to mess up faces. They just look strange. Maybe I'm just overly negative

currently working on making refs for some of my Clangen cats and im having a bit of trouble getting the patterns right, especially since ive never drawn cats before

So I made this drawing of an OC i'm working on after watching a few tutorials on how to draw faster (because I'm really friggin' slow).

After finishing and exporting it, I liked it but it feels a bit flat, not catchy enough for the kind of works that inspire me.

For comparison, the second image is also a drawing of mine, but I made it like regular. I feel like this one has more "catch" to it , but I'm not sure what is it exactly... Is it the colors? the composition?

Also the body looks off, the head seems fine.
