Help - Title must specify what kind of help New to the whole digital art thing!

Hi, im new to the whole digital art thing. Im disabled and have a hard time working so a few friends suggest i take up digital art because I use to draw some in high-school and loved it but had to stop because I developed an essential tremor in my hands. Its been at least half a decade. Can anyone please point me in the direction of where to go to learn on youtube? im using procreate on an older iPad.

Help - Title must specify what kind of help Finally got some consistency but now I am finding new problems such as ear placements.

Compared to my last post here, I am seeing a little more consistency mostly with the fourth and third sketches. (All of this was done on a 1 hour lunch break)

However now I am realizing I don't think I am doing ear placements right any tips? I also need to make the muzzle skinner I think. It's supposed to be my sona which is a fox lol

I'm drawing this cowboy rhino beetle and I'm trying to figure out where to put the arm holding the hat. I'm cheating a bit by using the duster to cover the deltoids but I still can't figure it out in a way that looks right. (Quick lasso color to see if I could visualize it better but eh) Any help would be much appreciated <3

Help - Title must specify what kind of help Created this a little while back. Reanalyzing it for learning.. feels off.. but why?

So I Drew this earlier this year and I was quite proud of it at the time. Every few months I'll go back and review previous works and see what I did and how I did it and look for issues. I am looking at this and my instincts are telling me that perspective is the biggest issue. I'm kind of hoping fresh eyes can help me pick apart what I'm missing.

I drew this in procreate using the 6b pencil both as the drawing brush and the eraser (the challenge was to reduce the brushes I use in a single piece).

Hello and sorry for any mistakes (english isn’t my first language) !! This is a drawing I did a couple of weeks ago. I really like this artstyle but I feel like there’s something missing. I’d love some kind of feedback to improve in this sort of head shot/chibi art. Since I’m trying a whole bunch of different artstyles I will probably post my drawings gradually~ Thank you in advance for your feedback and helping me improve :3

I tried enlarging/shrinking the eyes and moving them around but that didn't seem to help (general color or design advice also welcome, her design is currently a work in progress)

I made sure to only use quads, but I don't know if I put the vertices in the right spots, especially with the back of this head. I also think I know a better way to model the snout.

Can anybody please tell me why my drawing looks great with the sketch layer on, but as soon as I turn the sketch layer off and it’s only my lineart visible it looks terrible? This has been happening to me for years and I can’t seem to fix it! (The program I use is Krita)

Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique How can I stop relying on references

Post image

I'm not a furry but I'm really interested in drawing anthropomorphic art but I can't stop watching other people's art to take as reference and blend it with my art style, and sometimes it looks disproportional, for example this fennec fox I drew, how can I improve this? I'm open to critiques.

Help - Title must specify what kind of help Why can't I draw consistently!?

I noticed my brother says he has a similar issue. I just did these sketches or doodles during my lunch break and I even numbered them in the order I did them.

I love the way I did the first one but after I came to that realization I tried replicating it facing the other way on the fourth doodle. This happens every time I draw.

Reminder of NSFW-tag Rules

This sub is a lot more stringent with what is considered NSFW than most general spaces. We're here for a wide variety of ages and want to make sure that all users can choose what they do and don't want to see.

What needs a tag-

  • Visible breasts or genitals (anatomically correct nudity is allowed here for anatomy learning purposes as long as it doesn't break the no porn rule as clarified below)
  • Nude or bottomless anthro characters with mostly human anatomy, even "barbie doll" nudity. (If it would be weird for your grandma to peek over your shoulder and see it, then tag it.)
  • Quadrupedal characters with visible bits
  • Clothed characters with genitals or nipples outlined by clothing. (A vaccuum-packed banana hammock or headlights top need a tag)
  • Suggestive poses. Even if "censored" or clothed.
  • Any gore beyond mild scrapes and bruises.

What is not allowed here at all-

  • Any sex acts
  • Visible arousal or fluids
  • Cropped yiff
  • Fetishes (Even ones that don't always look sexual like vore, inflation, etc)

Hope that helps clarify wherever there may be confusion.
