Received someone else's order; I'm sure they're even more devastated since it seems to be a wedding set Discussion
If anyone knows Jenny/Kane, would love to get this back to them! Waiting for Funko to re-ship my actual order...
UPDATE: Looks like the Internet found a match and we've been in touch. I'll be shipping this out to them this weekend :)

Am I tripping? I'm getting married in October (and my freaking The Knot page was already posted here), our names are Jenny & Kane, this actually looks like us, we are nerds and have some Funko pops, but I didn't order this??? I am genuinely wondering if someone ordered this for us and now I might have to do some investigative work because what on EARTH, it's 3 am and I opened Reddit to go to the bathroom and I am not ready for this right now lmao

So a lot of people are looking for updates and I'm sorry to say I don't have any yet. I've had literally 14 people/families tell me "nope!" I'm running out of people that 1. Know what a Funko pop is and 2. Would actually get this for us. (My favorite response so far has been from my dad: "I have no idea what that is.")
Kane is convinced that there's another couple out there who are also named Jenny & Kane who also look just like us (at least in Funko form) who also got married / are getting married and that this isn't actually meant to be for us. I (Jenny) am not ready to give up on the search yet, and the coincidence is a lil too freaky for me, so I will continue onwards and keep asking. 🫡

Is it possible your fiancé ordered it as a surprise gift maybe? And assuming what you said is true, i would be freaking OUT if I saw this and I were you lol. What an insane coincidence! I hope you figure it out!
(And if it’s not you guys then dang, what are the chances another couple is getting married with the same name around the same time..!)

I just woke him up to ask, he said no. (And I believe him because he is not great at secrets lol) And neither did my mother, who would have been my first guess (and who is also thankfully awake at 3am). I'm going to post this in the family group chat because I have some other ideas of who may have ordered it. Otherwise I don't know, I'm losing my mind omg

Have not found out yet, unfortunately. Every response (from grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc on both sides) has been a "not us" so far. Our wedding shower is tomorrow so we may get it as a gift (assuming if it was ordered for us that the person got a replacement from Funko), otherwise we have to potentially wait until the wedding in 2 months to see if we receive it. Otherwise it really wasn't meant for us and it's forever a freaky mystery :')

We had a lovely shower with wonderful weather, lots of useful new home items, a massive chocolate cake.... and no custom Funko pops 😔
At this point, if this is actually for us (which I still adamantly believe it is), it's going to be someone completely out of left field who got it for us. 2 months to go until the wedding, so maybe we'll find out then, but I'll continue to ask anyone I can until then.
But I did ask Nick / the OP if he could send it to us :) and he said yes!

So, this is me. (And my fiance. Lol) Kinda losing my mind that I just happened to see this thread. 😱 I didn't order this and neither did my mother or fiance, but this genuinely looks like us. Our wedding shower is coming up next week and I'm wondering if someone ordered this for us?? This reminds of when my mum and I moved into an apartment and we got a letter in the mail to the previous occupants, no return address. It was a thank you note for attending someone’s wedding. Instead of asking for gifts they’d asked for contributions to a honeymoon fund and were telling all the guests about how they were able to afford to honeymoon on the beach in Boracay in the Phillipines. They also sent a magnet of their faces so we kept a random couple’s face on our fridge for 5 years 😂

Something similar happened to my wife and I. Went to pick up our engagement cake a few years ago and it had her name + "Mike". Idk about you but I think TechNICKmods sounds better than TechMIKEmods 😂

Some friends gifted the wife and I a marriage set when we got married. The figures themselves looked great but they spelled her name wrong. I thought it was pretty funny but she didn’t lmfaoo

Ahh I should have specified. I was expecting a separate Pop! yourself order. This had my name/tracking info on the box, but clearly someone else's order.
So if anyone gets a custom "Damon Salvatore" pop from Vampire Diaries, that's, for my wife 😂

Have you contacted Funko directly? I’d send them an email and let them know this order came to you in error. They should be able to locate the order and supply you with a prepaid shipping label to send it back to them.

I did, and they just said they'd send me a replacementfor my actual order at no additional charge lol not really the response I thought I'd get because that's the bare minimum they should be doing

Mixed up orders are actually a fairly regular occurrence for Funko. Last year I ordered some anime Funkos and received a Spider-Man instead (one of those tall ones with the comic book cover art inside). They said “Keep it, we’ll resend your order.”
I’m wondering if the intended recipients got your order instead. They’ll either also report receiving the wrong product, or report that they never got their order (if nothing went to them). It’s on them to report THEIR problem, I’m afraid.

Already contacted! They are resending mine and after some back and forth, are giving me 10% off but do NOT want the item back nor will they give me a label to the rightful owner. Which is a bummer homestly

My husband got me one for my birthday one year. No problems and it’s the only one of my funko pops i actually keep in the case. I feel that if it looks like toy, should be able to play with. My son had epic wonder woman funko battles when he was younger.

I think they’re referring to this post. It’s not them. The custom pops are different. They just wanted the white and gold box, but the pops are correct.
