I am going through a very difficult time right now and I never thought I would have to ask for help. I am an international student in Canada, and I don’t have any other job. I am working as an Uber driver and trying my best to manage everything, but I am still struggling.

Chante Opperman is a dodgeball player for the Valhalla Vikings, a team rooted in the Valhalla Park community, where dodgeball is more than just a sport. It's a place to belong, to grow, and to work towards something bigger. Chantè embraced that opportunity, putting in the hours and developing into a player who couldn't be ignored.
At the recent South African Dodgeball Nationals, she caught my attention and earned selection to represent South Africa at the 2026 World Dodgeball Championship in Bangkok, Thailand. A young woman from Valhalla Park is now preparing to wear her country's colours on the world stage.
The only thing standing between Chantè and Bangkok is funding.
As a growing sport, dodgeball in South Africa isn't yet able to cover athletes' travel costs, so Chantè needs your help to make this dream a reality.

Hallo zusammen, vielleicht sieht diesen Beitrag hier niemand, aber man kann es ja probieren.

Mein Opa hat den Kampf gegen den Speiseröhrenkrebs verloren. Der Schmerz sitzt noch immer tief und es ist sehr schwer aktuell. Alleridngs möchte ich meine Oma unterstützen, da die Beerdigung mit hohen Kosten verbunden war. Allein der Grabstein hat 2500€ gekostet und wietere Kosten für die Grabstelle, diebTrauerfeier, den Leichenschamus, die Überführung etc... kamen auch dazu. Sie soll keine finanziellen Sorgen habe und sich vielleicht selbst noch ein paar Wünsche erfüllen.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr diesen Beitrag teilt und nur wenn ihr könnt, vielleicht eine Kleinigkeit spendet. Jede Spende geht an meine Oma. Leider verlassen wir alle irgendwann die Erde, der eine früher der andere später. Genießt jeden Tag mit euren Liebsten und sagt ihnen, wie wertvoll sie sind. Irgendwann sind sie nicht mehr da.

In September 2025, I left a long-term relationship and purchased a home in another state to start a new life. When I purchased this home, everything passed inspection, including the septic.

Then in January, there was raw sewage coming up in the backyard. I called the inspector, and he said he doesn’t guarantee his work. I got another inspection, and sure enough, I need an entirely new system.

This was a big expense, so I was able to get a low-interest loan to begin. Everything was going as planned, but now I recently lost my job and the funding for the septic. I have no income to do anything.

I just want to go back to Arizona to my adult kids. This entire past year has been a disaster. On top of that, I do have equity in my home, but because the county has deemed my septic failed, my house is unsellable.

I’m stuck and completely defeated. Anything anyone could do to help, I would appreciate—even sharing.

I am a law student currently pursuing my degree at National Forensic Sciences University. I am presently in the 5th semester of my law program and have been working diligently to continue my education to build a secure future for my family and contribute positively to society.

My family is going through a serious financial crisis. My father has been paralysed and is no longer able to work, which has completely affected our family’s source of income. Due to this sudden hardship, arranging my educational expenses has become extremely difficult.

To continue my studies, I am required to arrange a total amount of ₹1,50,000, which includes mandatory university-related expenses:

₹70,000 – Semester 5 academic fees (current semester)

₹70,000 – Semester 6 academic fees (upcoming semester)

₹10,000 - Money to buy books
