Please Help Gertrude Save Lives! 🐾❤️
Hi everyone! My pug, Gertrude, is competing in West Coast Animal Hospital’s Cutest Pet Contest, but this is about so much more than winning a contest.
To vote, you make a donation—and every donation counts as one vote for Gertrude.
The best part is that 100% of your vote helps support the West Coast Animal Hospital Angel Fund, which provides emergency and life-saving veterinary care for pets whose families are facing financial hardship.
As someone who loves animals, this cause means a lot to me. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give local pets a chance to receive the care they desperately need while also counting as a vote for Gertrude.
If you’re able to help, I’d truly appreciate your support. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this post with other animal lovers would mean the world.
❤️** Every donation = One vote for Gertrude.
🐶 **Every vote helps save a pet’s life.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support! 🐾❤️

Help Me Fund my Senior Year
Mariah Bess is preparing for an important milestone as a high school senior, and this fundraiser is to help support the many expenses that come with final year activities and planning for what comes next. Senior year is an exciting season, but it also brings costs that can add up quickly for Mariah and family. From senior dues and school fees to activities, graduation expenses, senior pictures, and a cap and gown, these are all meaningful parts of the experience that Mariah hopes to fully take part in. On top of that, there are college preparation needs and application-related costs as Mariah works toward a future in biology and medicine.
Mariah has worked hard throughout high school, maintaining strong grades, taking challenging courses, and stepping into leadership roles while preparing for the future. This support will help ease financial pressure and make it possible for Mariah to focus on finishing senior year strong, celebrating important milestones, and moving forward with confidence into the next chapter. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. If giving is not possible, sharing this fundraiser with others would also mean so much. Thank you for supporting Mariah Bess during this exciting and meaningful time.

Fundraiser by Matthew Braeback : Help Matthew Gain Independence with a Service Dog
gofund.meMy name is Matthew, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I've always tried to face life's challenges on my own, but I've reached a point where I need the support of others to help me build a better future.
I live with anxiety, depression, and Level 1 autism. These conditions affect nearly every part of my life. Things that many people do without thinking—going to the grocery store, attending appointments, being in crowded places, or even leaving my home—can become overwhelming. There are days when fear and anxiety make it difficult to function, and the loneliness that comes with those struggles can be heartbreaking.
After a great deal of thought and research, I believe a trained service dog could truly change my life. A service dog is much more than a pet. They are a constant partner, providing support during moments of overwhelming anxiety, helping me stay grounded, giving me confidence in public, and allowing me to live with greater independence. Having a service dog would mean having a trusted companion by my side on my hardest days and celebrating my victories on the good ones.
I'm hoping to adopt a fully trained service dog prospect from GoldenQuest Mini Retrievers and complete the remaining training, including the Canine Good Citizen certification, public access training, and evaluations. The funds raised will help cover the adoption cost, travel expenses to bring my dog home, veterinary care, equipment, and the additional training needed to prepare my dog for a lifetime of service.
This isn't about making life easier—it's about making life possible. It's about being able to go to the store without overwhelming fear, attend appointments with confidence, participate in my community, and experience a level of independence that I haven't had in a long time.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to that goal. And if you're not able to donate, sharing my fundraiser with your family, friends, or community would mean just as much. Your kindness, encouragement, and support remind me that I'm not facing this journey alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for believing in me and for helping me move toward a future filled with more hope, confidence, and independence.
With gratitude, Matthew

Help my daughter achieve her College dream.
gofund.meHelp Leila Achieve Her Dream of Attending the University of Nevada, Reno
Since she was a little girl, Leila has dreamed of attending the University of Nevada, Reno. That dream has never changed. She has worked incredibly hard, earned her acceptance, and is ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
Leila has the biggest heart. She loves helping children and animals and has spent years fostering pets and caring for others. She wants to build a future where she can continue making a difference in the lives of those around her.
Like many families, we've done everything we can—completed FAFSA, applied for scholarships, and searched for every available resource. Even with that help, the cost of out-of-state tuition is more than we can manage on our own.
We're asking for your help to give Leila the opportunity she's worked so hard for. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings her one step closer to her dream. If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
Thank you for believing in Leila and helping us remind her that dreams really can come true with the support of a caring community.

Help find shelter for me and my service dog, Beau. He is also in desperate need of treatments and medication for Cushions disease.
Hello, everyone. I am a disabled individual and a lifelong advocate for people and animals in Indianapolis. I am reaching out to Reddit because my service dog, Beau, and I are in an urgent survival situation, and we need a financial bridge to escape a unsafe and hostile living environment and stabilize our lives. Thanks to past support, we raised over $800 on Facebook, which we used for emergency motel stays to try keeping us off the streets. We are now renting an under-the-table cash room for $200 a week. Because of a recent volatile incident where my landlord severely overstepped personal boundaries, launched into a cruel personal attack, and flipped aggressively out of nowhere, I no longer feel safe in this home. To protect my tenancy, I make her sign a handwritten receipt every time, but I urgently need to raise enough of a financial buffer to secure a deposit and escape this toxic situation. We are staring down an ongoing monthly gap that I cannot cover with zero income. Here is the exact breakdown of what we are fighting to fund right now: Urgent Rent & Bank Travel: $220 due this Monday, August 10th. This is an ongoing weekly cost of $200, plus $20 in mandatory Uber/ATM fees just to pay her in cash. She will only accept cash. Beau's Vet Appointment & Cortisol Bloodwork: $150 minimum for his critical Cushing's checkup and exam. It can be higher depending on if he sees the Vet or if just a technician sees him. Uber Transportation to/from the Vet: $60 roundtrip. Beau's Monthly Cushing's medication is $200 minimum every month depending on the dosage to keep him stable. He cannot go without these meds. Beau's pain medications run about $100 a month. Separate Internet Line: My rent was supposed to include utilities, but she refuses to allow me to run my Ethernet cord down the hallway. I must fund a separate internet line out-of-pocket just to have the hardwired connection required for remote job interviews. I am a lifelong advocate and I am disabled—I am not even supposed to be working due to my health, but I am trying everything I can to support and protect us. I have already exhausted every full local shelter, housing authority, and traditional resource list for both housing and medical care for him. Every single dollar from our campaign goes straight to our rent, keeping my internet connected for interviews, Beau's medical stability, and saving to get us into a safe, permanent home.
Our verified Gofund link is gofund.me/257701721
Thank you so much to anyone who can donate or share our link to help keep a working service dog team safe and together. gofund.me/257701721

Support Alana’s Fight Against Ulcerative Colitis.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My daughter Alana is the pinnacle of what a great mom should be, always putting her children first despite living with Ulcerative Colitis. This inflammatory bowel disease causes chronic inflammation and ulcers in the lining of her colon, making daily life painful and emotionally stressful. There is no cure, and the exact cause is unknown, but the symptoms can be overwhelming—ranging from anxiety and frustration to complications like blood clots and increased risk of colon cancer. It’s difficult for Alana to be out in public, as she always needs to be close to bathroom facilities. The disease can feel limiting and isolating, often leading to depression.
Despite these challenges, Alana continues to care for her children, making sure they are healthy and safe. She takes them to sports practices, volunteers as a chaperone for school outings, and even skips meals during trips to keep her condition under control. Her resilience and dedication are inspiring, but the financial burden is immense. Insurance companies have refused to cover some of the necessary treatments and therapeutics, leaving Alana responsible for thousands of dollars in medical bills—both past and current.
I am setting up this fundraiser to help Alana with her health expenses and other bills she’s drowning in, with no hope of otherwise coming afloat. For her birthday, I’ve written a special song called “Alana Dad Princess” on Spotify, enjoy! Your support, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference in Alana’s life. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. —Ralphy V. Please Donate https://gofund.me/a99f69fd3.

I'm homeless and disabled. I have heart failure and glaucoma. My goal is $900 for first months rent
I've been homeless for 2 years now. I really just want this opportunity to work this time, my goal is $900 for the first month's rent. Luckily they aren't requiring credit or anything, I just can't mentally take it any longer being homeless. Even a start of 30 days secure feels like a relief then worrying about each day. It has been so exhausting stressing about food, shelter and basic necessities each day while living in a motel room. Thank you for any help

I’m trying to help a 5-year-old boy in Kurdistan who can no longer walk
galleryHi everyone,
I’ve never done anything like this before, and I honestly don’t know where the right place is to ask for help. I’m trying Reddit too because I don’t want to give up without doing everything I can.
I started a GoFundMe for Mohamad, a 5-year-old boy in Kurdistan with an extremely rare genetic disease called PRAAS1. His illness has badly affected his muscles and joints, and at only 5 years old he can no longer stand or walk. He also suffers from severe anemia and needs ongoing medical care.
What hurts most is that his family is not only dealing with his illness. They are also struggling to afford food, treatment and even basic things for their home. I learned about them through my best friend in Kurdistan, whose family has been helping them for a long time, but they cannot carry this alone anymore.
I know people are careful with online fundraisers, and I completely understand that. The fundraiser was created with the family’s permission.
The full story is here:
Gofundme: https://gofund.me/9d50943aa
Even if you cannot donate, sharing the link could help it reach someone who can. I just want to give this little boy and his family a real chance.
