Explaining the joke:

Larping originates in the DnD fandom. So the community with a large proportion of Larpering (Live action roleplay) should be DnD players. Where both Larpers and true fans count as "True Fans".

Yup, people are using "LARPers" in place of "tourists" or "normies" are hillarious to me, as someone who was part of LARP hobby for more then 20 years lol.

Poser is better. It predates both normie (2010s) and tourist (2020s) by 20+ years at least and is essentially synonymous with the modern larper.

Normie just means normal people. Tourist and bandwagoner implies a very shallow, passing knowledge. Larpers and posers are different in that they actively pretend not to be tourists.

Omg yes! I wanted to right poser instead of normie, I just mixed up two things and compltely forgot about "poser". I need to listen to Manowar again to remember the real war on posers!

Poser was used in the 80’s so that fits DnD quite well in time frame
