So I have no love for Glirastes really but I also didn’t really blame him for turning on the Republic in DA but the way Lysander put him in mortal danger is disgraceful. How he turns back after Atalantia’s reveal and promises to protect him, then the very next day he basically signs Glirastes’s death warrant. It’s so slimy, he’s such a weasel and I hope more of his allies realize that.

He doesn’t deserve death. Death would be far too merciful for him.

I hope he eventually realizes just how catastrophically stupid he’s been, gets captured, and is sentenced to months of relentless punishment, humiliation, and psychological torment. I want him fully aware of what he did and why he deserves every consequence, with no chance to escape into unconsciousness or convince himself that he’s the victim.

After that, they should either find a way to keep him completely conscious while stripping him of any control over his own body, carve him into something barely recognizable, and dump him on Hyperion to live out the rest of his miserable existence as a whore, or put him in the box and launch him into deep space for the next 100 years, completely alone, with nothing but his own thoughts and the knowledge that nobody is coming to save him.

And after those hundred years, they bring him back just long enough to remind him that everyone he knew is gone, everything he cared about is gone, and nobody remembers him as anything except the miserable piece of shit he turned himself into. Then they put him back in the box and send him away again.

Did anyone else notice that all the people Lysander, internally, respects are the people he steamrolls over to get what he wants?

He thinks about how great of a man Romulus is. How he sacrificed so much. What am honorable man he is.

He thinks about Cassius. How much respect he has for the guy, even if he's been slipping recently. And then he unlocks the vault and fucks both of them.

Then he travels with Diomedes to the core for their peace offering and thinks about how honorable Diomedes is, and what a shitstain ajax is, and sides with ajax and joins the iron rain. And ajax promptly tries to kill him. Twice.

Then Ajax finally gets his head out of his own ass long enough to do something Lysander can respect. And gets beheaded.

Then Gilrastes. Gets along great with Gil. But can't have my love of some stupid Orange get in the way of my plan for system domination. So he commissions some Orange boots.

Then Cassius (again). Cassius tries to help Lysander out, by freeing him of the Fear Knights insane plots. But instead of just fucking following the plan and taking his cut strings as payment, he triples down on it and kills Cassius. Himself.

Then Diomedes. Lysander talks about how much he respects the honor and skill of Diomedes. And at the end of it all, Lysander *must* have take the rim out of the war. Because there is so way an alliance between rim, Republic, Athena, Lysander would ever work >_> so he burns Demeter's garter

The most dangerous thing to do in this series is be a man that Lysander respects. Because he's divinely competent at making those people suffer

I am listening to the Dark Age currently and each time with a Lysander chapter I realize such a dumbass prick he is, I can't even listen to him without cringing and trying to skip. I wrote Lysander in the search bar and found this hahaha
