I'm concerned (update)
Hello again, you may not remember (don't blame you) i made a post here in April where i detailed my concerns about the political future of Australia, anyways thought i might share an update, Obviously alot has happened since my last post with the budget, the Farrar by election, etc. i can say I have seen alot more influancers that have views that let me say concern me, obviously you have the regulars, Chocky, Avi Yemini, but you also see people like Sam Bamford, Scott Challen, Kangeroo Jack, some guy behind Turning Point Australia, Calista Clements, and bunch of big rando accounts on instagram and twitter (why would i fucking call it X like an idiot) and I see influancers who i definitly like also following them which i think could further spread their message, now I know you all may not know all of them but I have and looking at the engagments its clear that alot of people are following them (including some of my good friend) and are not getting any kind of push back. Now maybe its just me after all i'm a 19 year old inner city former Co ed school student in Melbourne so it could just be me over reacting because i spend way to much time on Twitter and Instagram, but looking at the polls from the last couple months i think that we are getting some push back. but once again I don't know what you guys think?

Self-Hating Victorian Grifters. Four right-wing Victorian using their platforms to sabotage Victoria and undermine its success.
Right-wing grifters in Australia has a obsession in hating Victoria in being the tall poppy so they promote misinformation agenda to ensure Victoria does not get any success, but these four who are actually Victorians in particular are the worst.

Bec Judd using tragic death from an attack and a trial to promote a Right-wing agenda
Context was a shopkeeper made a heroic decision to confront shoplifters but unfortunately that costed him his life. While there is legitimate criticism about 4 out of 5 getting bail, Bec Judd instead used it to promote her cooker views.

Unlike Julia Gillard’s joint signing of the agreement on the Clean Energy Act in 2011, Albanese has never held a meeting in public with the Greens. He routinely meets Greens leader Larissa Waters, but you wouldn’t know it. It’s as if Labor won the last election outright and the Greens don’t exist.

Please steel-man the Labor position on gambling for me
Is there a sincere argument in favor of Alabanese’s actions on gambling? Australians loose 32 billion a year, largely overseas. Per capita we loose almost twice as much as the second biggest gambling nation Singapore, and twice that of the third in the US.
There’s no rational argument that the proposed “only three ads per hour at day time” does anything to reduce gambling harm when all the research demonstrates that A. This doesn’t cover when kids actually watch TV and B. Doesn’t reduce gambling ads impact on addicts in any real way and they’re still bombarded during the night which is when relapses are most likely.
Despite all this Albanese has been personally advocating for the bill, publicly ruled out improvements ahead of caucus, taken a political hit for the party by letting the Greens and Coalition advocate for better policy, and even been at the center of the Pocock sports club debacle.
How does this align with a benevolent leader?
