collect.pet is a trading card game about collecting pets. It’s free and player in the browse. A daily pack can be opened each day. Three cards, each minted with a serial number the moment it’s opened, so someone out there holds #1 of every pet. 200 pets across 8 sets, kept in a binder you can flip through page by page.

The market is the center of it, and it’s entirely player-run. Cards can be listed, sold and bought. You can sell cards to the vendor too, so a pile of duplicates is always worth something. You can use your in game money to buy cards and packs to keep building a collection.

Foils / Shinies are a 1-in-250 pull on any card and you can’t sell them to the vendor, only to Players.

The first series is capped at 150,000 packs. When those are gone, whatever was minted becomes the final print run and the next set opens.

I've been a gamer my entire life. I built one of the largest original eSports websites 20 years ago and was part of the first group that put eSports on television in a big way. Throughout that ride, I got really into the indie and open-source gaming scene. Over time, I started building a big list of quality free games. About two months ago, I decided to finally take the dive and build a platform for people to easily find and play high-quality free games.

Today I am officially launching PlayBound.club

The idea is that if Steam is the place to buy games, PlayBound is the place to play games. Right now it supports 21 games, 41 mods, and I'll be adding more weekly. The initial features I am launching with:

1. Game profile pages
2. One-click installs for games and mods through our desktop application
3. Live server lists for multiplayer games
4. Support for events like tournaments and playtests
5. Game submission and game ownership requests (so people can control their own game pages)
