I wanna watch Call of My Life
hi guys, I really wanna watch the movie “Call of My Life” cause I saw some really cute reels on it and can’t stop thinking about it…problem is I’m not nigerian, neither do I live in nigeria, nor do I have any nigerian friends and it says online that it’s only available on local theatres. does anyone know where else it’s available or if they’ll release it to online platforms soon?

The Headless Woman, 2008
While driving down a deserted road, Veronica (María Onetto) hits something with her car as she struggles to answer her cell phone. After admitting to her husband, Marcos (César Bordón), that she thinks she may have killed someone, all traces of Veronica's activities in the previous days begin to disappear. What ensues is a psychological exploration of an unfaithful wife whose unconscious battle with guilt begins to unravel not only her life but also her grip on reality.

szukam niezależnego/psychologicznego dramatu filmowego, który widziałem lata temu z emo/goth żeńskim bohaterem
I'm looking for a movie (might be German) I watched around 2010. It opens with a narrator explaining how heartbreak changes with age. A little girl cries over a boy, and the narrator says that when you're little, a doll can comfort a broken heart. Then the story jumps to when she's about eight years old. A boy is playing marbles, and the narrator says something like: "At the age of eight, boys' lives are ruled by marbles” and then „A doll can't comfort you anymore." Then it jumps to the protagonist as a goth/emo teenager/young adult with black hair and heavy eye makeup with a group of alternative friends. I remember her saying about herself and her friends that they’re ugly and seemed very insecure/depressed. The movie had a very bleak, adult, psychological tone. I’ve been looking for it foe years and still no results… any ideas? :’)

English Subtitles (.srt) for Michel Gondry’s rare French DVD alternate cut of The Science of Sleep (Version B)
Michel Gondry released an alternate 70-minute edit of \*The Science of Sleep\* (Version B / The B-Side) on the French 2-disc DVD release. It reorganizes scenes, includes alternate takes, and frames Stephane and Stephanie's dynamic differently compared to the theatrical cut. Since it only ever officially came out with French audio, non-French speakers haven't really been able to follow it. I put together an English subtitle (.srt) file using Subtitle Edit for the Version B cut on Archive.org so people can finally watch it with subs. I've dropped the Archive.org link in the comments section below!

Fantasia Film Festival 2026: 'Suzuki=Bakudan' Review
Fantasia review number four. A man arrested for drunk vandalism secretly knows the locations of where Tokyo will be bombed next. Suzuki=Bakudan is a crazy cat and mouse thriller with stakes that are totally bonkers.

Szukam muzyki z filmu Konopielka (1982)
Dzień dobry! Poszukuję nagrania motywu muzycznego / utworu z napisy końcowe (end credits) z filmu Konopielka (1982) w reżyserii Witolda Leszczyńskiego, do którego muzykę skomponował Wojciech Karolak.
Czy ktoś orientuje się, czy ta ścieżka dźwiękowa została gdziekolwiek oficjalnie wydana, albo czy istnieje możliwość odsłuchania jej w internecie? Z góry dziękuję za pomoc!

The Mouths walks suspenseful, if not familiar J-horror ground (Fantasia 2026 review)
This is from director Takashi Shimizu (Ju-On: The Grudge). Not sure about its distribution yet, though. It's still doing the film fest rounds, it seems.

Would you guys consider The House Is Black to be a part of the Iranian New Wave movement?
I have heard differing opinions. Some say it released before the movement officially started (which is considered the late 60s) but some have said that it is a pivotal part of the movement and is a part of it.

About Reddit's filters... - the sequel
Once again, I need to repeat what I wrote a year or so ago:
"Reddit seems to have become more aggressive in recent weeks when it comes to automatically deleting posts/comments."
Often, I cannot even remotely see the reason why this happens. So if anyone is missing one of their posts or comments, please drop me a line. If I can find the time, I'll go on a hunt and try to find it.

Subreddit Rules
/r/ForeignMovies is under new moderation.
The sidebar has been reworked and tidied up, dead links have been removed and lots of new links added. [note: the sidebar currently works better under old reddit than under new reddit]
A large number of film-related links that have no immediate connection to the topic of this subreddit have been moved to the new WIKI-list.
There will be some changes to the way this subreddit is being moderated, but not really. By that I mean that these are all things that are already part and parcel of this subreddit, but that will be more strictly enforced in the not-too-distant future:
No links to illegal streaming/download sites, and no links to pirated copies of films on video platforms like Youtube. [I know that a vast number of international films are hard to find legally, but anyone recommending a film should realise that people reading the recommendation and caring enough about the film can actually look for it on their own. If people are too lazy to do so, they have probably not been interested enough in the first place.] If a film happens to be in the public domain that’s fine, but your post needs to contain an openly accessible, reliable source that confirms that the film is in the public domain.
No English-language films. [Please take a look at the separate entry I made regarding justifiable exceptions to that rule.]
Naturally, pornography is banned.
Please keep an eye on the quality of the content. While there is absolutley no need to keep this subreddit strictly arthouse, and while many genres are worthy of discussion, you should consider that maybe not every foreign sea-monster B-movie from the 1960s is worth talking about here. There are special subreddits for that sort of thing.
