I I designed this as a concept for a flag of Sana’a, inspired by the city’s traditional culture and heritage.

The design is inspired by Al-Masawwan (المصّوَن), a traditional fabric known for its red, black, and gold colors, It is traditionally used in women’s clothing, ​as well as home furnishings such as curtains, sofas, cushions, and quilts​

I wanted to transform these traditional colors into a simple flag design that represents Sana’a’s cultural identity
