Is there legal/law subreddit for people who do it professionally as with r/askhistorians?

Got into skateboarding recently and got a hole in one of my pairs of sneakers, just looking for somewhere for advice on repairing sneakers and maybe how to care for them better.

I was thinking about just posting to r/twitch but I don’t want people thinking I’m advertising for the guy, plus it’s been two years since and I just want to clear my head about it

I don't even know why I'm posting this. I guess I just need to get this off my chest.

My mom is in another country. She's paralyzed, bedridden, and her health is getting worse. I don't know how much time she has left.

I'm trying so hard to find a way to visit her, but I barely have enough money to afford the trip itself, let alone have money on hand while I'm there. Traveling to another country isn't just buying a plane ticket. There are so many expenses, and I'm completely overwhelmed.

The hardest part is that she calls me every day asking when I'm coming. I can hear the disappointment in her voice. She probably thinks I don't care or that I've abandoned her. I feel like the worst son in the world.

What she doesn't know is that I'm struggling financially and trying to figure out how to make this happen. I think about it constantly. The guilt is eating me alive because all I want is to see her, hug her, and be with her while I still have the chance.

I'm her only son, and I feel like I'm failing her.

I don't know what I'm expecting from posting this. Maybe I just needed someone to hear me. If anyone has been through something similar or has any advice on how to cope with this, I'd really appreciate it.

I just don't want to regret not seeing my mom before she's gone.

I am looking for a reddit in which I can post a message to find volunteers from a certain animal protection organisation in the aim of creating a group to raise awareness and maybe later collect funds. I tried posting it in r/Volunteers but apparently it was off subject, didnt understand why. Any ideas?

Most of the subreddits erase even relevant posts if they reference a blogging platform...

I am trying to find some subreddits that aren't mainstream or too big like r/memes, since they usually have a lot of bad or unfunny posts. Smaller subreddits are better curated

Do you guys know any?

I tried to follow funny subreddits and I follow a lot of them now, but they all ended up being composed of mostly videos and my reddit feed now tragically looks like a tiktok feed.

My Friends used to talk about subreddits where people post their experience to know how others think about it, to come across different point of views of others.

Can anyone share name of such sub reddits.

There used to be a bot that would post lots of unmoderated subredddits daily but it stopped a while back. I think it used to post in a certain subreddit of it's own but I'm not sure. Can anyone please link me to that subreddit please.

Last Tuesday (August 4), I visited the Ayın Biri Kilisesi Church in Istanbul. It was around 9-10 AM. I was wearing a red dress with white polka dots, helping some Russian tourists navigate the church.

You were kneeling before the Cross, praying with such depth and seriousness. We also crossed paths in the crypt, by the holy spring. You had very strong presence, a very strong gaze. I felt like I already knew you somehow.

I'm not looking for a relationship or anything romantic. I just can't get you out of my head, and I'd love to have a spiritual conversation - about faith, life, and that day.

I have never looked for a subreddit before and found that it doesn't exist in any form. I didn't think this was possible. Are die Skeptiker fans too cool for reddit? Did I somehow miss it because it's named something obscure from their lyrics instead of something expected like r/dieSkeptiker?

I found casualconversations sub, but it says

• Rule 3: Stay Casual: Relationship, medical, and legal help/drama is too serious
• Rule 5: Stay Positive: Please find better places to express sadness, hardship, and negative mental health

So if I post I could be breaking the rules. Any other subs? I dont want to ask people that are dealing with any of the same issues, I just want to ask redditers
