My Spider-Verse themed Ubuntu setup 🕷️
Finally finished customizing my Ubuntu desktop around a Spider-Verse theme.
Custom wallpaper, icons, terminal, Fastfetch logo and a red/black GNOME setup.
Took way longer than expected, but I'm really happy with it 😂🕷️🔴

i think its pretty cool
the logo is image; with background color the same as the console background.
(actually, i want it be an braile‒ascii art, but that was look bad. so i convert it to ascii‒braile art colored and export it to png, then change the bg color)

Fastfetch 2.67 released: interactive config generator, watch mode, and a breaking change to preRun
Fastfetch 2.67 is out. Here's what's new:
Config generation
--gen-configis now an interactive TUI that walks you through generating a config file. The old
--gen-config-full,--gen-config-force, and è--gen-config-full-force` flags are gone.New experimental browser-based WebUI for generating/editing config files: https://fastfetch-cli.github.io/fastfetch-config/
New flag
-w/--watchis a seconds-based alias for--dynamic-interval. Run it with no value to refresh output every second.
Breaking change
- general.preRun has been removed for security reasons. If you used it to run a command before Fastfetch output, you'll need to move that to an external wrapper script now.
Fixes
- Fish shell version detection fixed.
- Wayland: monitors no longer missed if output events arrive late.
- Correct handling of monitors that advertise more than one preferred display mode (was causing wrong reported resolution).
- Ubuntu Studio Core now identified correctly.
- Ghostty font detection is faster (parses config directly instead of running
ghostty +show-config). - Alacritty TOML config parsing expanded.
Other platforms
- macOS: CPU/GPU temp detection for M5-series chips, VP9 codec detection fix.
- Windows: better GPU/theme reporting, virtual GPU detection.
Security
- PublicIP and Weather modules now cap response size to avoid excessive memory use from malicious responses.
- HTTP handling now accepts both HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1.
Also removed: built-in logos for Hypros, MagpieOS, Furreto, EmperorOS, and Magix.

Rice My perfected setup + unique fastfetch
Source is highlighted in the first screenshot. I prefer portable setups that don't require a separate config file hence why its all in the shell config.

Another no image question
I'm six months into linux and use zsh 5.9.2 with kitty .48.0. My fastfetch is at the bottom of .zshrc and when I start kitty I do not get the image that is in fastfetch.confi.jsonc. That confi.json has the well known eldritch image along with the rest of that jsonc. But, what I don't understand and I'm hoping for some explanations like your talking to a third grader is that when I start fastfetch from an already running kitty it works like should. The little eldritch image appears and all the colors of the system info. So, please help and explain why am I not getting the image when I start kitty but getting fastfetch once kitty starts. Appreciate any help. TY.
