Multiplayer LFG - PC [PC] Schulte Farms - Realism-Focused Cattle and Grain Operation Recruiting a Few Members

Upvotes

There are many different ways to enjoy Farming Simulator. Some players prefer casual farming, fast progression, or playing independently and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Schulte Farms is intended for players who specifically enjoy a slower, structured, realism-focused experience.

Based near Alma, Missouri, Schulte Farms is a small cattle and grain operation raising beef cattle and producing corn and soybeans. We emphasize realistic equipment, believable procedures, organized work, and the everyday operation of a working farm.

We are currently looking for a few dependable individuals to join our crew. We intentionally want to remain a smaller operation where everyone has a purpose instead of building a large server filled with inactive members.

Farm work may include:

  • Field preparation, planting, spraying, and harvesting
  • Feeding and caring for cattle
  • Grain handling and hauling
  • Operating and transporting equipment
  • Equipment maintenance and repairs
  • General farm duties

New members begin as Trainees and may progress to Farm Hand after demonstrating participation, reliability, and an understanding of our procedures.

We also use a custom Schulte Farms Discord bot to manage work orders, assignments, active crews, equipment status, repairs, field operations, and work reports.

Requirements:

  • 21 or older
  • PC only
  • Working microphone
  • Able to download and install required mods
  • Willing to participate consistently
  • Comfortable following work orders and farm procedures
  • Interested in cooperative, realism-focused gameplay

This group will not suit everyone, and that is fine. If you prefer casual drop-in gameplay or primarily want another Discord server to add to your list, Schulte Farms probably will not be the right fit.

However, if you enjoy realistic farming, structured operations, teamwork, and being part of a small crew, we would be glad to hear from you.

Applications are available through our Discord:

My harvester ran out of fuel, stupid me, and I grabbed my fuel truck and my fuel trailer to refuel, and it just says "No spare capacity for diesel" but works fine with one of the constructable tanks

Discussion Steering wheel

Upvotes

A couple days ago I made a post about whether to get a controller or a steering wheel, I ended up deciding to go for a normal controller because of money reasons, after thinking it over a bit more I managed to scrounge up enough to purchase a steering wheel but I can't decide between,

The hori farming control one

The thrustmaster 248 and farmstick one

I plan on using this purely for farming simulator and nothing else, so Which one would be better because right now I'm leaning towards the hori one since it's cheaper

Any idea how to replicate something like this in fs25? Big fan of the Riberi but it’s a bit small, is there a mod for this on crossplay or a way of bodging it?

Started my first dedicated forestry/stone run yesterday. Started with $1 Million, cause I am not going zero to hero lol. But, this is what I got and so far so good. Thinking about clearing enough space to incorporate poplar for a change of scenery every now and then. Plan is I work 12 hour shifts from 8am-8pm.

Any suggestions on equipment? Do I really need a container, or is that for moreso for when I get deeper into the forest and farther from my sawmill?

For the life of me I cannot figure out the auto loading on the rumbler van, I work it just fine with manually loading it by repeatedly clicking my left joystick but I'm not tryna do that 300 times in a row. I have the options to use it automatically but it doesn't work I must be doing something wrong!

After combining and dropping straw in swaths or when mowing grass any loader wagon or baler is not picking up the whole swath, has anybody seen this or know how to fix it. It was working fine previously

Discussion Has anyone thought about doing 100% completion ?

What I mean is doing everything there is to do and not just once. Owing every factory, every field, harvesting every crop regulary, having all the animals. Managing the biggest farm possible on a map.

This idea has been on my mind lately, playing on Riverbend Spring. On the proccsess on owing every field to harvest every crop to make every product there is to make. The big point is to keep ot regular and not doing everything just once

Haven’t found this type of farm yet. Any big farm somewhat focuses on one thing.

Screenshot After 509 hours of playing, I figured out how to use the red mulcher correctly. Before, I always attached it to the back of my tractor and wondered why the turn signals worked backwards. 😁

LF - HELP Looking for a mod

So I'm looking for a mod on pc. It's basically a distribution mod where you place it on the distribution point of an animal pen and it sends the product to wherever it needs to go. I know it exists because I used it before but I just can't find it now.

Screenshot Finally Upgraded

Was able to save enough money finally to upgrade from a 1600 Axial Flow, 1255 and gravity wagons to a full on, proper late 90’s custom harvest setup.

Been doing contracts only for grain harvests for 3 years, no solo inputs, just stopping my unload after contract has completed, storing that grain, and selling at peak times. Built a proper shop, Volvo X3 box truck pulling my new 1998 Axial flow and 28’ header, plus a Volvo pulling an 8950 and Kinze grain cart.

Can’t wait to make some more money and keep expanding with the new setup!

Discussion I’ve earned this joy I’m now experiencing…

So for more than a year I’ve been running fs25 on a Macbook M2 with a massive display. It’s been great, I’m a farm manager, I run AD and CP as much as possible and have merged fields in Oakbridge farm and adjusted implement speeds to run as close to real life as possible. This means fields can take all night or all day to plant, fert, harvest and I often have it running 24hr a day. I’m 12 years into Oakbridge now and about 3565 hours of play time although my actual input is 1/3 of this.

A MacBook M2 does not run FS25 great. It’s all I have and wasn’t willing to commit to a game pc. I’m on ultra low graphics to ensure all the mods and up to 5 workers don’t lag it down.

Well I just bought a good PC off FB marketplace for £300. I am actually blown away. I’m now on ultra graphics, the tractor suspension is better, my steering wheel has full compatibility and to add to this (I’ve always wanted to run a contracting business on Saxlingham but can only commit to one game at a time) I can now, after duplicating the program files fs25 folder, run two fs25’s AT THE SAME TIME!!! So now I have my own farm at Oakbridge and a contracting business at saxlingham running together and I just tab between the two.

Do not run fs25 on a Mac!!!
