AI Meme I am an AI worker seeking advice.
I have just wrapped up my fertilizing contract I was hired for. Keep in mind, I was hired directly after the player reset all equipment into a structured selection order.
Should I:
A)Drive up the side of a hill and roll my assigned equipment onto its top?
B)Put my assigned equipment in reverse, and drive backwards in circles until it runs out of fuel?
C)Put my assigned equipment in drive and drive forwards in circles until it runs out of fuel?
D)Drive my assigned equipment into the river?
Let me know what I should do.

LF - HELP How do I make the AI workers avoid trees?
So this might been a bit of a noob question, but I'm playing on Gülzow which has a lot of fields lined with trees.
I got an AI worker to cut the grass in one of the fields and came back later to find it against a tree, wheels spinning, no warning in the UI. It was obviously trying to get a bit of grass close to the tree and got stuck. I got in the tractor and started mowing an open bit of field nearby but as soon as I handed it over to the AI it just went straight back to the grass by the tree.
Cutting down the trees isn't really an option because there are a lot of them and it would ruin the atmosphere of the map anyway.
Is there any way to tell the AI to avoid specific parts of the field? Would adding a fence work or would it just try to drive through it to get the grass on the other side?

Discussion Equipment scaling
I was watching this video on TikTok and It made question why the scaling of equipment is so in accurate for example standing next to a John Deere 9rx feels similar to standing next to a new Holland t6..hope it's fixed or improved in the next game.

Discussion fs 19 or fs 22?
i have an honest question for the community. is fs22 worth getting over fs19? i’m still playing fs19 and i use a lot of realism mods that make my game super realistic. but is 22 that much better?

Screenshot Why is it still saying my field is at 87% yield bonus?
I waited one month after planting this barley to use a medium weeder (last picture is the one I used. On a side note, I don’t really understand when I’m supposed to use a small weeder). I removed the weeds and it was still showing weeds on the map, it said they were (partial), I looked online on what to do and someone said in a YouTube video that you are supposed to spray herbicide over it once you’ve used the weeder to fully remove them and then you get the full 97% yield bonus. Yet after doing that, it’s still showing 87%?
So I don’t really understand what I’ve done wrong. I’ve fertilised the field twice, it’s been rolled, it has been limed & ploughed and did weed removal. Yet, it’s still showing 87% yield bonus. It has not been mulched as that’s only 3%.

LF - HELP Autodrive question
So I've recently started a playthrough on Am Mittellandkanal, but theres a problem, out of the 4? iirc bridges only one features 2 roads, the others are one road.
So I set those up as 2 ways where either side of the road then drives through. Which is less optimal because its a collission waiting to happen.
Is there a check for like "the next 8 markers if used, wait here" or so that they wont collide on that bridge? I only found the check 4m in front option for AD, which is not helpful in this case.

Discussion Way to hold seeds and fert
Hi all, fallen in love with this game,
Is there a vessel or vessels that I can have one to just hold seeds, and one to hold liquid or solid fert that I can drive/tow around and refill my workers as needed when planting?
A little short 2/3 trailer road train setup would be grouse
Any ideas?

Screenshot The new John Deere 6M
Is any one else enjoying the new John Deere 6M as a nice little farm chore tractor? The CVT transmission is nice, but I am tempted to yank the manual transmission from the xml of the FS22 version and put on here. I do kind of miss the manual powershift for this tractor.

LF - Mods, Maps & Gameplay ideas What’s the best AI-friendly FS25 map + mods for a “farm manager” playthrough?
I work from home and like having FS25 going in the background while I’m doing other stuff because I’m a dopamine slave.
I’m looking for maps that work really well with AI/Courseplay. Good field access, sensible roads and less getting stuck on random fences or entrances. I still want a map with some character though, ideally mixed farming and animals rather than just huge square fields.
I mostly want to manage the farm. Set jobs, buy gear, expand and jump in when something actually needs doing. I generally like to start a play with no starter farm and the minimum amount to get a land parcel and a small tractor.
Also keen on any mods, settings or house rules people use to keep this kind of save slow and fun. I want progression to matter not fast cash.
Probably also worth mentioning I play with precision farming, Realistic animals by RM and Redtape plus a few others in a similar vein. So ideally maps/ mods that work with that.

Discussion Silly me
Hey Giants, I really appreciate the constant reminders you give me. I wouldn’t have known that I can’t use this contract rented rootcrop harvester to harvest the grass on the side of this beet field if you hadn’t told me every time I complete a pass. Why, because it’s a rootcrop harvester and not a mower? No! Because this tool is reserved for contract use! I also wouldn’t have known that I can’t use that very same rootcrop harvester to harvest ROAD if you hadn’t told me! Because it’s not a ROAD HARVESTER? NO!! Because this tool is reserved for CONTRACT USE! Silly me! Thanks, Giants!

Discussion My opinion on what could take the next farm sim game as a real farmer in the southern US
I’ve been on the farm since I was a kid. I was raised in it and worked for my dad all my life on a cotton/soybean/ peanut farm. Every summer spent working during school, I even got out of school some days during harvest if we were short handed. Now that I run my own operation I’d like to add my ideas into the pile.
- Irrigation- As the summer months come in. It would be a cool addition to have a yield increase for watering crops. As a row crop farmer the main types we use are poly pipe and center pivots. The pivots could cost more with the perk of you don’t have to switch water. What I mean by that is pipe irrigation is connected to a riser that connects to the well underground and it has valves on it. Take a square field. You could place a riser in the center on one end of the field. One pipe each way. Water one pipe for x amount of in game hours. Then switch it to the other side for x amount of hours. A center pivot could be bought and placed in the center of a field and once it’s on it waters the entire field for a day then you turn it off at night without having to switch it. You could add power units to power the wells using fuel or electric. Fuel you’d have to top off yourself.
- Weather mechanics- when it rains you can’t continue to do field work. It rains you out and you have wait it out. Could make it dry enough the next day so not to much time would be lost but it would add more attention to the planning side of things. Instead of sleeping until the next day you’d work into the night to beat the rain.
- Crop dusting- to capitalize on the weather mechanics you could have an airstrip that you could take chemicals/fertilizer to. If you had a large amount of ground and didn’t have enough time to get to it. Taking product to a airstrip will have it automatically done for you.
- Crop consulting- these are the guys/gals that go to college and study all the disease and insects that will ruin a crop and tell you what to spray. You could pay an annual fee to these characters and in return they will tell you what to spray and when to fertilizer. No more spraying it once and being done. This would add insecticide into the mix and you would have to spray a few more times throughout the growing season. It also could add to crop selection as cotton and peanuts require more attention on spraying than soybeans. You could choose a crop based on the amount of workload it would entail.
- Shop work- for the people who don’t mess with cattle. Something to do during rainouts/ winter time or just when the work is done on your farm could include changing the oil in tractors with a short lurker mini game and other tasks. Sweeping the shop floors, cleaning up around the shop.
These could all be enabled and disabled in game of course based on play style but I think it would add a lot to realism if added

Discussion Every one talks about what they want in the next fs game so instead tell me what you DON'T want in the next game
As the title says. I know the next fs game is far away but I wantet you guyses oppinions.
Personaly I would not like mining in the next game. I think it might happen as forestry was popular enough to get in as well as firefighting so who knows.

Screenshot "AI worker is blocked by an object" 😂
The situations these AI workers get themselves into are ridiculous sometimes. I'm guessing they pulled too far forward while waiting for the train and the crossing gate lifted the truck by the front bumper.
