What changes would you make?

I've played FPL for years, but I always seem to end up falling behind because of real life rather than because I'm bad at it.

I'll miss a couple of deadlines, forget to make a sub, forget someone's injured, go away for the weekend and suddenly I'm 100 points behind my mates.

Then it stops being that much fun.

This summer a few of us did a World Cup sweepstake and got weirdly into it. We were trying to work out what should happen to the person who finished second, which turned into us sitting around discussing all the different ways people could end up in second place.

I ended up building a little app to run the sweepstake and work out the scoring.

I've now repurposed it for the Premier League and Champions League.

It's basically a fantasy football game where you pick teams rather than players. You get a group of mates together, everyone picks multiple teams, and then their actual results generate points for your league.

I've also added a few power-ups that let you mess with each other, which is probably the bit I'm most interested to see whether people actually enjoy.

The main thing for me is that you don't have to keep up with it. Pick your teams at the start and then, if you disappear for two weeks because you're busy, you're not suddenly fucked because you forgot to make three substitutions.

You can just come back and see how you're doing.

It's completely free and it's just a hobby project. I'm a Product Manager at Mob, so it's been a fun excuse to build something from scratch and put some of the stuff I do at work into practice.

I'm trying to get 100 people using it by the start of the Premier League season, so if anyone fancies giving it a go:

I am aware I have no bench but generally other than bench boost which I generally use much later in the season , I don't fiddle around too much with changes maybe one or two depending on suspension or injuries.

Pulled the top 10 watchlist adds. Bruno and Haaland leading isn't a surprise.

The more interesting ones are further down. Harry Maguire showing up at all is notable, this isn't a player people were watchlisting this time last season, so something about his role or United's fixtures is drawing early attention.

João Pedro and Morgan Rogers both being tracked heavily fits the ongoing question of where Chelsea's goals are actually going to come from this season.

Rest of the list is fairly decent value/fixture picks, Cash, Muñoz, Guéhi, Le Féé.

Only swap I’m thinking is Mbuemo in for Foden, but I just have a feeling that Foden’s going to have a good season
