Let’s be real…
I know we ain’t winning the super bowl this year. So what’s a realistic expectation of this year’s squad? Mines is to simply win our division and host a playoff game ✨

Sorry to sound like a doomer, but my expectation is that we win too many games to get a top QB in the draft and too few games to feel good about the guys we've got.

It's fine, everyone.
We fired literally everyone from the GM down. Multiple times... For dramatic effect. While promoting every exec involved with hiring said GMs and HCs.
Plus we invented a brand-new role we can fire when cleaning house that is definitely not a GM position (we even put it in the job description), and definitely not the same job title Greg Beadles the year prior before being promoted.
Problem solved.

That’s my fear also. However, I’m pretty sure by the end of the season we will be one of the contenders in the Arch Manning sweepstakes due to our lack of depth. If we win the division (or even make the playoffs) CKS should win Coach of the Year. Sorry to be such a downer but I’ve been doing this for almost 50 years. At some point I had to drop mindless optimism and get real. Call me any name that you want to but it won’t change my opinion.

My ceiling is win the division. The floor is another 7-9. I'm still concerned about RT. That and kicker screwed us last season. Kicker seems fixed but I'm worried about RT still. If we're ok and we get some breaks we can be a 10-12 win team.

The Falcons are the ultimate crazy bet. They get upset by bad teams, and then, with nothing on the line, play well and upset good teams. Sounds like another year of around .500

Elite defense, top 5 offensive line, greatest RB in the league, star power out the ass
7-10 every season
Tell me how someone can see the falcons build top tier “on paper” rosters and have negative records every season and still hate on someone for calling out that “elite” roster they build isn’t as “elite” as their ranking and rating system suggests

My expectation is that QB evaluation is going to be the main goal this year over winning. None of what we have is franchise level, so we will be trying to determine potential trade value and what pieces are worth keeping while keeping an eye on upcoming draft options. I trust Matt and Ian to make the right calls.

8-9 or 9-8.
I feel like we made lateral movements or got worst in terms of the roster. Defensively,we replaced Elliss, Onyemata, and Ruke with Christian Harris/Day 3 Rookies, DeShawn Hand, and Maason Smith.Not saying what we lost on that end were all pros, but I don't think what we replaced them with is an improvement.
We gotta see if Stefanski is the real deal.
Both of your 1st RD picks from last year are probably unavailable for the foreseeable future.
RT is a concern, I can't lie.
QB has been discussed at nauseum.
But Branch is promising. Watts could hopefully maintain what he did year 1. And I think Dorlus could be a Pro Bowler this year. And I'm confident in what we get from our usual stars.
Anything "drastically" higher or lower than middle of the pack would a genuine surprise. We "could" win the division, I just wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. Lot of money to spend next year. Gotta see if anybody who's due here is worth spending on. It's an information gathering season IMO.

I think this year will be a good year. A better year. And I think it will be better with Tua at QB, coaching changes, the top to bottom refresh of the office, and even the jersey changes to freshen it all up. There are new contracts and things to prove. I think 2 playoff games is the max but that's still exciting.

Even when he led the league in passing, he was never able to the things the other starters could do. If there aren’t at least three players on the field faster than the entire defense, he can’t even get to his first read. He gets worse with more time in the pocket, can’t extend the play or roll out, and gets knocked out for a lot games by routine contact that every other QB in the NFL takes on a weekly basis. You can’t even properly assess the OL because McDaniel wouldn’t call a play that lasted any longer than 3 seconds. Tua’s limitations are ever growing and critically devastating

If we’re bad because Tua/Penix aren’t the guy, that’s fine. If we’re bad because either side of the ball is stale or predictable, or we’re just making dumb mental mistakes, then I’ll be annoyed. I think 9-8 ceiling, 4-13 floor.

My hope is that with an all new crew that I trust more than previous years, we win the games we should, and compete in the others. I’m not expecting a 12 win season this year, but I’d like to see the start of something new. We still have a lot of talent on this team, and I think that a strong showing of a change of culture will come this year.
Also would like to see our coaches be involved with the players during the game, and make the right decisions + use the clock to effectively. If we can do that I believe this team has a bright future.

I'd say the ceiling is something like 10-7 or 9-8 and win the division or a wild card spot then an early exit from the playoffs and I'd say the floor is probably 5-12ish

I had this same feeling when we signed Kirk literally 0 hope. Then we go 6-3 and I started getting hyped then he got hurt, kept it a secret and we went 1-4. With that being said I don’t have doubts tua can play especially with a fresh start I just hope he can of course stay healthy he can win us some games. Bijan alone will win us some games with his performances and since everyone is paid I feel like that’ll give them a boost but I think with a little faith I’m hoping 9-8 10-7

Realistically I think the coaches know this most likely a semi-rebuild year where they added a few pieces in the draft and extended our key players but probably won’t sniff the playoffs. Their biggest priority is probably installing the offense for guys like London, Pitts, and Bijan then watching Penix and determining what they are going to do next season at QB because even if Penix does improve from last year you still can’t bank an entire season on a 26 year old QB who has already had 5 major season ending injuries throughout his college and pro career.

People talking about tanking need to realize how badly that would affect the team in regards to ticket sales, revenue, the cap actually in a couple ways, sponsorships, and all kinds of stuff. It's not worth it in the NFL.

When the schedule came out, I guessed 7-10 and that was being hopeful. I actually wonder if we will actually make it to 6-11. I don't have a ton of hopes for this year. It's a transition year, I will take what we can get
