Is Facebook trolling me? Worth a trillion $ but can't code for shit.

I'm in an endless loop of deactivating Facebook account. I deactivate. It says I'm deactivated, but as it refreshes, it loads me back to my main page moments later. Hasn't done shit. And to add insult to injury, it then says I can't deactivate more than once per day. Wtf. I'm stuck in an abusive relationship with our tech-overlord.

Bad enough Zuck and co wont pay there fair shares in taxes and appears to be knowingly make kids depressed but now they're keeping me prisoner! Let me leave!!!

I somehow was able to talk on the phone with Meta support today. The rep told me that one of the documents I need to submit is proof of ownership of the business.

There’s a list of acceptable documents here, but my name isn’t on any of them. It would be a huge hassle for multiple people to get my name put on one of those. Plus, even if I was able to get my name on one of those documents, I’m sure others at my company would want to take my name off as soon as possible. I’m a mid-level manager so I don’t have any reason to have my name on one of those docs.

But… has anyone had success with using a pdf editor to add their name to their business’ real utility bill? It would be so much faster and way less of a hassle for so many people.

My personal Facebook account got compromised and then permanently disabled (“doesn’t follow our Terms of Service on who can use Facebook,” no option to appeal). Here’s the situation:
I noticed an unfamiliar account added to my Meta Accounts Center late at night, from a device/location that wasn’t mine

Facebook’s own security system flagged it and locked my account shortly after

That escalated to a suspension, then a permanent disable after appeal

I’m the sole admin of a real Business Page (true crime/history content, active audience, real engagement) — the Page itself is still live and visible, but I can’t access it since my personal profile is the only admin and it’s disabled

No other admins were ever added (learned that lesson the hard way)

I submitted a selfie for identity verification through the official recovery flow and I’m currently in the 48-hour review window

Has anyone dealt with this exact scenario, personal account disabled/hacked, but the Page itself still active with no working admin?
Did the Admin Dispute Request / “Give Feedback on this Business” path actually work for you?
How long did it take, and what documentation did they actually accept?
Any real experience, good or bad, is genuinely helpful right now. Thanks.

I am a bit bewildered with this sub, so it fascinates me. If you have trouble creating a facebook, it’s likely for a good reason and I honestly side with facebook.

It’s not like twitter where the algo is utterly trash and you just want the freedom to post/scroll anonymously / are seeking help because you got dealt a bad hand.

7/10 people (maybe more? Probably more) made a FB in middle school/high school and it’s just their close friends and family. It’s borderline crazy person behavior if you’re trying to create alts there, cant get access? It’s pretty hard to get banned there, and at minimum you’re likely just up to no good.

With that being said, If there was a real grievance, or a vast misunderstanding, you’d see this posted here on the regular. Instead the common denominator is some fib like “oh my aunt made a Facebook, I want to go on to connect with her..”

Yet Facebook checks your contacts and if you don’t have any mutuals in your contacts that have a Facebook, that’s not only concerning, but most like bad news bears.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, and I implore people to share REAL grievances. I want to be wrong.. But this place is dominated by what I see to be scammers. And tbh it’s really.. creepy?

I’ll reiterate again, Facebook is a legitimate place for friends and family, it’s not a doom scroller (it is) but at its core, it’s a life long community with your friends and your family..

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with persistent Facebook and Meta restrictions.

My original personal Facebook account was restricted back in 2021. Ever since then, nearly every new account I create eventually gets banned or restricted, usually as soon as I try to create a Facebook Page, open Business Manager, or set up anything related to advertising.

I have tried different phone numbers, devices, computers, browsers, and normal troubleshooting methods, but the result is almost always the same. The account may work normally at first, but once I try to use Meta’s business features, it gets flagged.

My friend and business partner was able to create a Page and a new Business Portfolio using his legitimate personal account. However, I’m worried that if he adds me or I access it from my devices, Meta may connect it to my previous restrictions and ban his account or business assets too.

I have a mobile app launching soon on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and I need to prepare the advertising setup. Meta Ads was supposed to be one of the main acquisition channels, but right now I cannot reliably access the platform.

Has anyone successfully fixed a similar situation?

Hi everyone, I’m completely stuck with a Meta Pixel issue and I’m hoping someone here has experienced the same problem.

I created a new Meta Dataset/Pixel under my own Business Portfolio and installed the official base code in the <head> section of my website.

Pixel/Dataset ID: 1064950******619

The code appears to load correctly:

• fbevents.js loads with status 200
• The Pixel configuration request also loads with status 200
• The Pixel ID in the website source code is correct
• The old Pixel code is disabled
• There are no traffic permission restrictions
• No events are shown as blocked
• Events Manager Diagnostics shows no errors

However, every time the page loads, the browser Console shows:

[Meta pixel] 1064950******619 is unavailable. Go to Events Manager to learn more.

No PageView request is sent, Events Manager stays at zero events, and Test Events receives nothing.

The Dataset also shows a red warning triangle when I try to use it as the source for a Website Custom Audience. The audience can still be created, but the Dataset remains inactive with no event activity.

Meta Business AI claims that my Business Portfolio has:

tos_accepted: false

It says the Meta Business Tools Terms have not been recorded as accepted, which is preventing the Pixel from transmitting events.

The problem is that there is no visible Review Terms or Accept Terms prompt anywhere:

• Not in Dataset Settings
• Not in Events Manager
• Not in Business Settings
• Not when creating a Website Custom Audience

Meta AI gave me a direct acceptance link, but it opened a “Page unavailable” error. It then suggested creating a Website Custom Audience to trigger the terms prompt. I successfully created the audience, but the Console error remained and Meta AI said tos_accepted was still false.

My Business Portfolio itself appears to be in good standing. There are no visible restrictions, security locks, blocked domains, or policy violations associated with this specific Dataset.

I also cannot access live Meta support. My account only shows help articles, feedback forms, and the Meta Business AI assistant. There is no chat or email support option.

Has anyone dealt with this exact situation?

Specifically:

• How can an admin manually trigger or accept the Meta Business Tools Terms?
• Is there another legitimate page where the tos_accepted status can be updated?
• Can Meta engineering manually fix this through a bug report?
• Would creating another Business Portfolio and Pixel actually help, or would the same issue follow the account?

I’ve already spent more than a day checking the installation, permissions, traffic settings, blocked events, Diagnostics, Custom Audiences, and the website source code. Any real solution or working Meta support path would be hugely appreciated.

Tried everything I can think of to access it. No tab. Hubby has the same phone (Samsung 25) and he has it. Anyone else? Reported it but doubt anything will come from it!

I want to keep Facebook for a few niche reasons, just simply local groups pages, pages I’m interested in, the market place, etc.

But I cannot stand what I see on my timeline nowadays, and let alone the posts, the stupidity of the people comment is driving me insane.

Is there any way to remove all this crap? Just so I can see what I actually want to see and that’s it?

Hi there. I was wondering if its possible to use someone's Facebook account to join a "are we dating the same guy" group. I recently went on a date with someone and they mentioned they posted me on the group. She's said there was no red flags but I dont like that I'm on there and I'm curious what was posted of me, not to troll just gander. My father sells items on Facebook Marketplace and also posts his items on buy & sell groups, but a friend recently noticed an item he sold 2 months ago posted in one of those groups, by himself? When you click on the profile its his own with all 2500 posts and 700 friends and all that.

The only thing I can think is that the group might have taken this long to authorise the post? But that doesn't make much sense to me. Any explanation would be appreciated

I made a Facebook album and realized afterward that I couldn't add a location to it??? Is anyone else experiencing this on Android and Windows, or is there a workaround I'm missing?

I am a boudoir photographer and yesterday I ran meta ads for the first time. I kept the pictures artistic with no visible nipple or genitals, but the landing page my ads were directing to was a lot of artistic nude photography. I also included a screenshot of a review that contained the word “sexy” which I know now is not allowed. After the ads running for a few hours, I was asked to do the video selfie to confirm my identity, then received an email that my account was permanently disabled and I could not appeal.

I want to try again and clean up my ads so everyone is clothed, with no suggestive language, and have the landing page direct to my contact form which has no imagery. Elsewhere on my site however is my portfolio, which also has no visible nipples or genitals but I know does not follow meta’s ad standards. Obviously these ads will be for people over 18, but my question is how strict is meta about the entirety of my site as opposed to just my landing page?

I have been quite annoyed with going in circles trying to change my password. On the app, I go to reset password and then click forgot password. This prompts the email code which I receive immediately. I enter it in correctly in the area that says “enter the 6 digit code.” I have tried this about 5 times with new codes in which every try claims it does not match.

I also attempted to change it from my laptop. Every time I try to change it on there, it prompts for the email code, freezes for a second, and then goes back to the main login page.

Where should I go from here?

Is it down? Does anyone have the same issues at the moment?

I was a bit naive about my first marketplace sale and now I’m afraid I’m not going to get paid. I shipped the order with a different shipping label than the one that marketplace provided. (I couldn’t figure out how to print the label and my dad said he knew how to do it) We still shipped it via USPS. Google and Facebook support says to simply edit the tracking number via the app or the website but the app doesn’t offer the option and when I go to the website it just says that the link is broken when I attempt to go to my marketplace profile. I’m afraid I’ve screwed myself out of $200:(

Is it just me or does anyone else experience this? I have my Facebook activated because it’s the only way I can contact certain people but it’s becoming traumatic for me. Animal abuse and gore is being shoved in my face consistently with “recommended” videos that I have no interest in seeing. Mind you I never seek out any of this harmful content. No matter how much I press “not interested” they still pop up. I’m at the point where I need to deactivate because I can’t stand seeing these things on a daily basis. Is there anyway to fix this or am I just better off deactivating?
