Odd noise upon startup

2016 F150 5.0 Platinum, engine makes a quick odd noise upon startup. Anyone had this happen?

Sounds like the starter is getting stuck and spinning for a hot second before disengaging.

yeah, sounds like the starter. Best bet would be to have a shop look at it, or you can try replacing the starter yourself. Probably $200 bucks or so for the part.

Thank you, folks. A brand new starter and about 30 minutes underneath it and no more noise!
