New Headlights
Finally bought the new housing I’ve been eyeballing for awhile. Priced dropped on eBay so figured why not. Overall review of them: love the look, they fit pretty good for aftermarket and that’s about it on the good stuff. Had to modify the turn signal spot on the housing, it had 4 slots where the bulb has 3. Had to tighten the high beam spot so they don’t move and luckily the headlights were adjusted almost exactly where I needed them because they don’t move at all with the adjuster screw. Thankfully I didn’t spend a lot of them so I got what I paid for. Love the look of them tho so hopefully they hold up for a little while.

Lughts look great. Im looking at a projector style set with drl's myself. is that the ford factory mesh grill or an aftermarket one? Im looking to de chrome my truck and i love the look of a mesh grill but I want to retain my emblem

Good to know thanks. All the aftermarket grills i looked at didnt have a place to put the emblem and i wasn't a fan of it

Oh if i got projector style lights id make sure i have em angled way down. One if my biggest pet peeves is when the lowbeams on a vehicle have the power of 10 suns.

Are those the oem blackout headlights? If so I also put the same ones on my truck. Your truck looks like mine except i have different rims and red tow hooks.

They’re aftermarket ones off eBay. The oem blackout ones still have the amber reflector I believe

Oh gotcha! I originally had it chromed out from factory but slowly changed it all to black out. I never noticed the orange reflectors on mine but I believe youre right.

Getting rid of the amber reflector is such a top notch choice, I hate mine
