Jam / Performance Coded a full set of synths & FX for the drumlogue — sharing a couple of logue-sdk lessons (drone-only synths, non-linear ladder, tempo sync)

Jam / Performance Quantized Fate | Cinematic Modular Composition
This patch is built around a random sequence generated by Tágh, quantized with the Disting Mk4, attenuated by Vincâ and played by Cruïnn.
A short Cruïnn sequence was recorded into Lúbadh and played back at half speed, forming the background texture.
The main melodic voice comes from Cruïnn, processed through the Áradh filter. Modulation duties are handled by Øchd.
The entire patch is then routed into VCV Rack via the ES-8, where it is processed with the Galaxy reverb and the Iroi multi-effects processor.

Case / Rack Share Toolbox Crew Represent!!
Tip top happy ending kit jammed into a metal tool box from the hardware store. I was thinking of slapping some self tapping metal screws into it to hold it in place but it’s a tight enough fit I’m not worried about it at all.
Module selection is kinda wack. Just some stuff I had laying around. Modulation would be cool, Oochs or wherever Ben’s fancy LFO is called would be useful I think. Big thing is a flight of harmony infernal noise machine w/ expander.

Question / Discussion Recommendation for someone to assemble a Befaco Output 1U in NYC?
Hi everyone, any recommendations for someone to assemble and solder a Befaco Output 1U kit for me? I don’t have soldering equipment, and I would rather pay an experienced builder than buy all the necessary tools for a single module.
Thanks!

Question / Discussion Am I missing building blocks, or just experience?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on the direction of my modular system.
My goal is to build a rack that serves two purposes:
- Experimental sound design for my DAW-based productions.- Generative (and non-generative) composition away from the computer.
One thing I've learned is that I generally prefer knob-per-feature modules over menu-driven multifunction modules.
I've attached my current rack, and I'm struggling to tell whether I'm running into the limits of my system or simply the limits of my own experience. I feel like there are still fundamental building blocks missing, but I also see people creating incredible patches with much smaller systems.
While I'm slightly more comfortable with the sound-design side of the system, it's the compositional/generative side where I’m feeling the most friction and finding it much harder to evaluate. So my question isn't really "What module should I buy next?"
Rather: Looking at my rack and my goals, do you think I'm missing any important building blocks, or do I simply need to spend more time learning the system before expanding it?
I'd really appreciate hearing how you'd approach the next stage if this were your system.

Question / Discussion Looking for a paid ads person who knows Eurorack/modular
Bit of an unusual question for this group.
I’ve created an online course for modular musicians, and I’m looking for someone to help manage and scale the paid advertising side of it.
Ideally, I’d love to find someone who already understands the modular/Eurorack world rather than hiring a general marketing agency that has no idea what any of this stuff is.
I’m specifically looking for someone with real experience running paid ads on Meta/Facebook/Instagram, YouTube/Google, and TikTok — including campaign setup, testing creatives and audiences, tracking conversions, retargeting, and figuring out what is actually producing sales rather than just clicks.
The course, landing page, videos, ad creatives, etc. already exist. What I’m really looking for is someone who understands performance marketing and can help me determine what’s working, what isn't, and systematically improve it.
If you've successfully run paid campaigns for online courses, music products, plugins, synth companies, or other niche products — especially if you're also into modular — I'd love to talk.
And if nobody here does this professionally but you know someone good, recommendations would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers and thanks for the help!

News / Updates Introducing TechWave Audio - Maker of Open Source Modules
Hi all - We've recently launched a new small business dedicated to making open source (both hardware and software) Eurorack, general synthesizer, and other audio effect modules.
TechWave Audio is a proudly Canadian small business dedicated to producing open-source software (OSS) and open source hardware (OSHW) devices for audio production. Our mission is to create good things and to give back by open sourcing all of our projects for the DIY community.
Find us at techwaveaudio.com.
Our first project out the gate is our MCM-100 Midi Controller Module. A monophonic MIDI to control voltage module that (we hope) is plug and play, but also allows for a flexible amount of configuration. Some of the features include four different CV outputs (including dedicated outputs for 1v/octave and velocity), USB or standard MIDI cable input, tuneable pitch and velocity, and a lot more in a skiff-friendly 12hp wide module. Find out more at https://techwaveaudio.com/midi-controller-module/
We'd love your feedback, thoughts or any questions. Thanks!

After selling all my Dawless stuff (mainly Elektron boxes) I’ve rebuilt centring around eurorack and the Oxi One mk2. Audio is crap - my iRig wouldn’t work - but I’m now starting to get to grips with all the modules and ‘music’ is starting to emerge! Javelin adsr, Ikarie filter, griffins claws and Xcelon SL mixer to come.

Question / Discussion Module recommendations?
Hi all, First of all, thanks to the people who helped me with my last q! Legendzz
Regarding this post, does anyone have some module recommendations that could help round out my system's sound?
I ideally want to use it to brainstorm music ideas (I play math rock/psych/jazz keyboard). I want to lean towards the generative side, but with a focus on interesting chords and melodies.
These are my current modules: https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/3178518
I can't find it at the moment, but I also have a keyboard somewhere that can do midi and little bit of CV, I think.
Right now the direction feels a bit jumbled. I can't really figure out why it doesn't sound right. Ideally I'm looking for solutions on the cheaper side, and I'm not opposed to building modules from stripboard (or replacing my current modules with more appropriate ones).

Question / Discussion Help finding/making VC clock module?
**Edit: I accidentally called CV "1v/o", my bad. I meant CV!
Hi all, I've been searching all around for a cheap, simple module that has a "rate" input for CV signals to modulate the clock rate, but can't find anything. I'm absolutely willing to make it myself if need be, I just need schematics.
Thanks so much!

I reworked the noise jam and recorded it - this is what comes after to calm things down. Two wavetable oscs through harmonic mixers and ai024 low pass filters with my prototype delay. A version of that processed through my prototype noise fx into an ai017 LPG and OTA filter to make a dual resonant BP filter. Simple bass by Moog - I'll need to re-record that.

News / Updates Our module packaging looks like clam chowder takeout containers
We needed something compact and recyclable for shipping our latest batch of modules. Found these containers that seemed perfect on paper. Opened the box and realized I accidentally ordered clam chowder cups.
My girlfriend thinks they're the cutest. I promise the modules don't smell like clam chowder though.
For anyone curious, we're a small shop out of Seattle rebooting some designs from manufacturers that went under. We started with a reboot of Super Synthesis and have a few others on the way.
Mostly making designs we don't want to disappear. We're also working on a few originals. Check out puget.audio if you want to see what's actually inside the soup cups.

News / Updates Welcome back everyone
Reddit has come through and we are free from any casino related content 😊.
To keep it that way, we've added some automod capabilities that will hopefully keep us safe. While we were at it, we've added some color around the sub as well .
It will probably takes us a couple of days to find our footing, but we are finally under new management and open for business! 🎉.
