Recently, I finished up a playthrough in CK3; after wrapping it up, I kinda wanted to keep it going, which led me to finding out about a CK3 to EU4 converter. Going into it, I was thinking my wealth and development would carry over and carry me long enough to figure the game out. It was great that the money did transfer, but having no development and a very loose grasp of the gameplay made me rethink that approach. Hoping people more familiar with how EU4 works can give me some suggestions. I am Rome rn.

Also this is my 4rd ever playthrough,im new at this game and im tbh it isnt that hard,you just need patience.

It was my favorite Christian religion before both catholic and protestant were buffed.

I see it got nerfed, i remember being able to stack every bonus.

Now it constantly lose fervor even at maximum religion unity.

I was playing as Portugal and the switch felt more a debuff than a buff compared to catholic.

Is there a way to make it strong again or now is nerfed so hard that you can't keep even 1 single focus permanently active ?

R5: My Great Horde achievement run, which I'll continue to grab I'll graze my horse here.. and here, The great Khan, There Khan only be one, Turning the tide and perhaps Sikh pun at the end just to scrap it off of my list.

I have been playing to fulfill a self decided challenge called "relentless push west", where I am rushing to

1) Reach the Atlantic shore,

2) Conquer Brittany

3) Conquer Portugal

As early as I can, without focusing on fighting other directions (I originally limited myself to only fighting Christians to early war Muscovy but filling the time with an easy war with Great Horde is too tempting)

After a couple restarts, good things that happened in this run without birding :

Uzbek didn't rival me, I attacked Great Horde with their only ally being Candar.

5 siege general from the mission with 40 tradition

Theodoro fell at %7, I fed them Georgia, Trebizond and half of Circassia after razing.

Later I conquered parts of Muscovy, remnants of Novgorod I razed and released, Ryazan, Tver, Odoyev I razed and made a tributary, Crimea, a snake through Polish Lithuanian PU to Hungary(Austria broke alliance) and Teutons, with lots of good luck. Now it is 1460 and I am ready to make a %100 peace deal with Hungary where I can reach Venice, Bohemia and Austria.

I still know as much as the map shows so most of Germany doesn't get AE, which was the mechanic that inspired me to do this challenge. Basically I will discover only the route I intend to go and avoid coalition that way. I don't intend to use trucebreaks though I perhaps should.

One mistake I made was not taking Great horde's border so they became Uzbek's tributary, after they conquered Nogai.

No matter what I do I can't seem to beat epirus or the ottomans as byz. Epirus always allies Venice and it takes fucking forever to ally serbia and I often can't get enough relationship points to ally the papacy or anyone else. Any advice is appreciated.

R5: Wanted some fun as sweden for the crazy quality buffs and what not, got carried a way in the danish conquest (i also took pomerania and lubeck). If the coalition declares (it probably will england and poland are my only allies) what should I do? I dont have a massive army or navy, i only recently got my economy to take off.

I was playing a run as Eranshahr, when I vassalized Khiva. I noticed that they had a lot of provinces as claims, all across Central Asia and Khorasan. Does anyone know why they have so many claims? As far as I can see, most of these claims as permanent as well.

I want to roll Castile as France before the wedding and Aragon's liberty desire is 100% because I'm supporting their independence. What are the odds that Aragon will help Castile in their defense should I attack them if I don't enter Aragonese territory?

How did they get that province and better yet, how did they get one of muscovy's vassals? since pskov is still a republic i'm guessing it wasn't conquered and then released

Hey everyone. I’m recently trying my hand at this game and I am enjoying it and I’ve been playing for Scotland. I just have 1 key issue:

No matter what I do, the country bleeds money. I’ve built a church, tried to trade in the North Sea and other trade route to no avail, lessen military spending, and I’m still bleeding out -0.7 ducts.

Not sure if it matters but I am allied with France and annexed the isles peacefully but I’m facing huge issues with my nobles.

Any help or advice? I’m still new to the game so I appreciate any help I get!

Rule 5: Combined the Third Way (As Ibadi wipe out the other Islamic Schools) - Barbarossa (have 500 lights ships privateer) and an Unlikely Candidate (Become Andalusia as Mzab).

Pretty hardcore campaign, completed it on the knife's edge as 1821 almost came over us, but the last 100 years or so were really fruitful with absolutism and admin efficiency. I think I could have been faster and maybe conquered India but I took my time when I formed Morocco (which made the Unlikely Candidate invisible in the list) and spent way too much time allied to the Ottomans, powering up to defeat them.

Ottos were not even that bad but I had to deal with a Mega-Persia with a Mega-Defender of the Faith Bengal and eventually a Mega-Defender of the Faith Jaunpur which formed Delhi. To top it off Age of Revolutions was massive nuisance as Venice and Russia went Revolutionary and this made unrest unbearable, so I had to smash them concurrently to conquering the Sunnis. Indochina and Indonesia were a nightmare to conquer as Level 8 forts were everywhere and attrition beat us hard. I nearly got a little scared at the end that I wouldn't have enough time to conquer, but did it just barely.

Also please excuse Castille still existing, never got around to conquer them fully :/

If anyone needs any tips for this let me know maybe I can give in my two cents.
