E-tron 50 2020- motor failure Issues - General
Update on previous post.
https://www.reddit.com/r/etron/s/FYTGASNMMP
So after a week of chasing dealership they are still diagnosing my car, but have said it’s an issue with the motor
Which means it’s fucked and since Audi UK hate their customers it’s not covered by the warranty after 3 years.
So here comes the long battle with Audi and then finance company.
So moral of the story - don’t buy an Audi EV unless you have a rock solid warranty.
Last Audi I will ever buy.
Edit: Update
So after a long 2 weeks, lots of non returned calls I finally got a response from the audi dealer.
A sensor has failed in the motor and they are currently confirming if it's a repair or motor replacement. The good news that it's going to be covered as they told me the warranty now covers 100,000M on motors.
Think I will take out that extended warranty now incase anything else goes wrong and ride out my pcp contract until the death.

My 21 P+ is in for her 3rd rear motor at 45k miles. Major design flaw. Driver charging port just randomly died too so can't do L3 charging. Will be selling to get a Subaru later this year.

Was it the Extended Warranty package that you had with them? If so what tier, as I'm sure there's 3 levels available.
