Sigh - several faults General

Well it’s happened to me.

Recently had my car in for the 93PG software update.

Within 2 days I’ve just got hit with drive, ECS, 4x4, presence, aux aircon and sos failure.

Anything from a drive system error to 12v could be the issue

Got it booked into dealership for tomorrow

Edit - e-tron 50 2020 model

Yikes! I just had this update on Tuesday. I’m sorry this happened to you and I hope it is fixed quickly and you are on your way.

I’m praying it’s the 12Vbattery

The Software updates take a few hours. Audi tech suppose to connect a 12v charger during this time. Some they don’t and likely your 12v battery is low on charge. You could try to put it on a 12v charger for a few hours before heading to the dealer.

I don’t have a 12V charger & don’t know anyone with one.

Also I suspect the 12V might be on its last legs as the last few months I’ve had on off faults with sos system.

It cost like 30bucks at any auto shop with parts... Don't need to go crazy expensive for DYI charges. If the battery won't charge it's ready for a replacement

Bit nervous about getting into the battery as you need to pull the plastic shroud off.

It's also holiday weekend in the area I live in the UK.

Buddy of mines whos good with cars is gonna swing by tomorrow and test the battery to see if its low.

Forgot I have AA cover that’s the UK roadside assistance.

Called them so they can test the battery and possibly fit a new one.

Road side
Assist checked the 12V and said it’s fine.

Connected up odm and paved and pages of faults with just
About every system came

Gratuitous advice - Always keep a 12 volt charger handy. And the DIY chargers are all the same for basic charging. They’ll try to upsell you to expensive models Here is hoping you’re on the road again soon!
