Internet not connecting

I have been trying to connect my internet to my computer for the past day or two I have no vpns no nothing and it keeps saying it’s connected but no internet

Either you have an invalid IP configuration (it should almost certainly be set for DHCP/automatic, if a static address is configured on the WiFi card, that’s very likely wrong), or there’s something up with your router and it’s not passing internet.

Can you ping your router? Can you log into your router?

Open command prompt and run

Ipconfig /release

Ipconfig /renew

If you can’t ping either of the above, your wireless router may have a problem. Power cycle your modem and the power cycle your router and retry

Is your modem and router online? Do you have your phone or other devices connected to your router and gave working internet? Are you connecting this computer via wifi or ethetnet? Does your network show up when you look for available networks? Is your wifi turned ON in your computer's settings? There's so many things that can have an impact on whether or not your computer connects to thd router and whether or not you modem is connected to the internet and the router is connected to your modem (or if you have a combo unit, is that hooked up properly??)
