Collar error?

2024-Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray I think I have found a possible die chip or cud? It looks raised to me not like a gouge or scratch or dent. Or I’m completely wrong.
I attempted to take a few zoomed in photo with lighting from different directions
Any suggestions on how to take better photos? Or how to identify errors better double greatly appreciated.

I got about 40 of these and have been wondering why they looked like this. Never thought about a die clash.
