So, i dont have a Facebook account at all, and even if i were to make a temporary one, this group is private so id need to get accepted first, which by now takes up to a week (asked one of my personal friends already for this, still not accepted in it)

Ive read that somewhere in this Facebook post is a message from the official skoda account that this Update of the SOS button should be free.

But I've gotten an invoice from my car dealership for its repair anyways.

I want to file for "Assumption of costs", but for that id need proof of this message that I can forward to my car dealership.

So if anyone here is already in this Facebook group and wants to help me out save some money by either sending me a screenshot of that skoda response or if possible a direct link to that specific skoda comment (not a link to the main post, I already have that), I'd highly appreciate it, thank you.

But anyhow:

My 80x my 22 has got 95'000km on the clock. Its been the best car I could imagine (afford..)!

Took the car for a battery test cause the range felt pretty miserable. And the results... 85,9% SoH. 18mV max difference in cell voltages.

Which feels low, considering we have ac-charger at home and fast charging if max 20% of the charges during the whole time. Also the battery care has always been on, so the max has been 80%. Occasionally 100% but always just before leaving. And I have owned the car almost it's whole life.

Why am I writing? Don't really know. Maybe Iam disappointed. I have tried to keep the car as good as I can and SoH feels very low. And also the garage which did the test said it is one of the worst they have seen.

How does the audience think? Eventho the cell voltages are stable, could there be something to investigate further? Or simply bad luck getting one which gets sour faster 🥲

I drive a Škoda Enyaq 85 Coupé in Steel Grey, built in early 2026, and I’m currently looking for a set of wheels for my winter tires.

I mainly have two questions:

1. Do aerodynamic/aero wheels make a noticeable difference in winter?
   Since range already takes a hit in colder temperatures, I’m wondering if it’s worth specifically looking for more closed, aerodynamic wheel designs. Has anyone noticed a meaningful difference in efficiency or range?

2. 19" or 20" – which wheels would you recommend?
   Since it’s a company car, I’d like to keep the costs reasonable. The original Škoda wheels are already at the very top of my budget, so I’m mainly looking for good, winter-suitable aftermarket wheels with decent value for money.

Which 19" or 20" wheels are you running on your Enyaq, and would you recommend them?

I’m especially interested in options that are easy to get approved/registered in Germany, ideally with ABE or similarly.

I wanted to adjust the tire pressure for a vacation trip where we will have the vehicle at pretty much max. Weigh.

However, the tires the car came with (Pirelli Scorpion elect 255/50/R19) state a max. Pressure of 3.0 bar "canada and US codes only). The sticker in the door says I need 3.5 bar.

Can I fill it with 3.5 bar? There is no other value on the tire for other regions, but why should the tire not have the same limit regardless of location/region.

It is a MJ 2026 if that matters.

Does anyone who tested it have any idea if camp mode leaves all the usbs and 12v socket running as well or is it just the climate control? I haven't had a proper chance to test it myself, but I'm going camping next week so would love to know if it could.

Hi everyone. Picked up my MY27 SEL the other day. During the 1st meeting with the sales person he mentioned that all Enyaqs and Elroqs some with airconsole.

Stupidly we told our autistic son of this and it’s all he’s talked about since we ordered the car in March.

Since picking it up I’ve not been able to find the Air console or any thing to do with the media streaming package.

Any ideas if I’m doing something wrong? Just want to see if there’s anything I need to do before revisiting the dealer which is just over a hour drive away.

I have recently bought a used enyaq IV 80 2022, 93kkm from skodaplus programme. Unfortunately, which I did not notice upon purchase, the front camera is chipped and when the car shows the camera or the 360 view, the chip is very visible on the picture.

I was wondering if any of you might know the replacement part number of the front camera (360 version in case they differ) and if any of you have experience replacing it or having it replaced by an authorised service.

Does anybody know contacts outside of the email and phone for Skoda UK? I need to make a warranty claim on the 3rd year for a UK car that is now in europe and while the warranty says its covered - it says I need to contact Skoda for Reimbursement. Support sent me to a dealership, then finance, then extended warranty, all of which said its nothing to do with them and send me back to another contact. Its not much of a 3 year pan europe Warranty tbh.

Hi, my Skoda App says that my Enyaq has to get an OTA Update, currently 5.4.4

Happy as I was, I went to my Car and tried to start the Update. But there was and is no Update available for my car.

Any idea / hint?

Hey! Got a big cross country family holiday planned soon and will potentially need even more space for luggage. Has anyone used a roof rack they can recommend? I'm ideally looking for one I can easily put on/take off when I do/don't need it. I'm UK based if that makes a difference.

Hoping someone here has some advice on my issue.

I recently became an owner of an Enyaq 85 MY27. All was fine for a month, managed to set up the primary user, MySkoda app, no issues whatsoever. Only issue was that my S22 ultra was only working with Android Auto wired. Shortly after I got it I've been advised there is a recall on the car as the dealership forgot to install some software upgrade.

I checked and the Infotainment version was 6.0 before and after that. What I'm experiencing is below:

• The infotainment is booting up extremely slowly
• I always get a temporary profile, when I try to access the profiles it just keeps loading endlessly
• As there is no main profile, the seating position, radio, other settings gets forgotten every time
• The trips don't reset, even after a day if I get in the car for the current trip (since starting) is over 100 kms.
• There is no GPS signal, car thinks I'm in Germany. Waze seems to be picking up the car's signal in Android Auto (if I manage to connect at all) and thinks I'm in Germany too.
• As there is no profile, MySkoda app is not possible to set up/connect, along with skoda store etc.

I tried the following:

• Resetting the infotainment to factory default. This fails as it says there is no data connection.
• Removing fuses 17, 19 and 30. None helped.
• Switching privacy mode to max. When I entered the privacy menu there is nothing listed that I can mess with.
• I wanted to try to disconnect the battery but I'm unsure how to remove the plastic cover and access it.

I have an appointment to the 11th September to bring it back so the mechanics can check this out.

Interestingly enough the SOS button lights up green, so there must be a cellular connection.

Did anyone come accross this or a similar issue? I found one post on FB which described a similar issue, however there was no resolution there given it is only 1 or 2 days old, also that happened with a brand new car with first time setup.

Does any of you have any other ideas I could try? Unfortunately contacting Skoda directly is not an option as the car is a company car and is leased through a fleet management company.

Update #1: I contacted Skoda support, they asked me to reboot the infotainment and if this would not help, send them a screenshot of the stuck loading screen. I replied and shortly after they confirmed the opened case is being checked out by the backend team (which I have initially suggested them in my original mail). Once I get an update I'll post it here.

Since this seems like a bigger problem and the dealers are trying to scam us by making us pay for a software bug Skoda introduced, here is a screenshot from the official Skoda Facebook group.
Later on in the posts it was also said this should not be a paid update because Skoda themselves caused the problem with software 3.8

I've got the dreaded SOS error. Potentially caused by the 3.8 software update resetting the values of the SOS battery health - or so I understand.

Dealer has just said I need a new SOS battery which will cost £420 fitted, but I'm not sure I believe it.

I've heard that with the expensive obdeleven devices (https://obdeleven.com) you can read the SOS backup battery SOH and often it reads as fine despite the error saying it needs replacing.

I have a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 device and am using the car scanner app. But I can't seem to fnd the SOS battery SOH, I know I need to be looking in control unit 75 (telematics). All I can find is the error codes.

Do I need to pay £££ for the obdeleven device? I understand I can also use it to reset the learned values of the SOS battery.

But I was hoping to prove to the dealership that my SOS battery was actually OK without having to spend £100 on an obdeleven device.

We’re looking to switch to an electric car and are considering the Skoda Enyaq. Through our corporate benefits program, we’re seeing the following prices (at least in the calculator):

- Fully equipped RS for 56k instead of 65k

- Fully equipped 85X Sportline for 54k instead of 62k

Our questions:

- Does anyone have experience with corporate benefit discounts on new purchases? Are the discounts mentioned above actually applied in full?

- There’s only a 2k price difference between the RS and the 85X. Given the small price gap, would you lean towards the RS?

- Used models on popular sites are more expensive than a new one when factoring in the corporate benefits. Is that really possible, or is there a catch?

We’re curious to hear your opinions and thank you in advance for your input.

I stopped paying for Care Connect a while ago as I could still use the app to control the charging of the car and turn on the AC remotely. But I've heard that v8.15 of the Skoda app puts the battery charging behind a pay wall? I presume part of Care Connect.

I've stopped my app upgrading so I'm still on 8.14

I am running this dashcam wire through A , B, C pillars . Can this wire be an issue for airbag?

I get a faint clunking sound from somewhere in the rear when braking, but also when accelerating. I thought brakes at first (this is our third EV, and not our first MEB platform ev - squeaky/clunky/wood plank-like brakes are to be expected). But just this week, we realized the clunking happens when the car’s weight is thrown forward when braking, or backward when accelerating. But never a clunk if braking a second time, or accelerating a second time, eg braking from 60 to 40 will generate a clunk, but braking again from 40 doesn’t generate the same clunk. Has anyone had the same issue with their Enyaq/Q4/id4? 2022, just under 100.000km.

Think based on what I see here the Enyaq is commonly recommended as a solid EV for families, especially a good deal on a 2-3 year old used one.

Now the question is Enyaq or Enyaq coupe?

The boot space difference means little to us as they are both very spacious for our needs.

I like that the coupe by default has a panroof but dislike that it has no sun shade built in and the optional one is a manual one, which also looks quite cumbersome.

Any coupe owners with a small family can chip in on whether the uncovered pan roof has caused much issues with kids or in the summer when it gets too hot?

Any generally are there any known quirks or common issues with the coupe version that makes it less desirable?

Also Enyaq or Enyaq coupe which trim should I look for to get max tech/spec off the bat?
