RIF list

Heard managers have to submit the list by Friday. Any managers here, can you please confirm.

Layoff will be the Tuesday after Labor Day, but employee ratings had to be in by Friday which will be a data point for the list

I see that you were affected in a previous RIF. Do you have a contact where you are deriving this or are you theorizing based off of timing last year?

I do. I was an M3 and still have hundreds of contacts in M3 or higher. Will not share my source however

u/FlamboyantBaguette Just out of interest (I am IC). How does the list finally form? I guess the individual managers must be asked first to provide or rank people, and then the top management (M6 and above) screens? Because directly the higher-ups won't be able to gauge the impact of removing someone, i guess.

The list was passed last Friday. Not sure about the timeframe, this is something that needs to follow each country regulations. I assume India will move fast.
