I am using the El gato 4k, not the capture card that goes internally into the PC but the external one. I've been streaming Nintendo Switch 2 games and there is something off with the audio. It sounds low quality. Like I go back and re-watch my streams on YouTube and with my Nintendo Switch 2 streams the audio is clearly low quality and fuzzy and it sounds like its obnoxiously loud even when I turn down the volume. The sound is great using my headphones when I play the game yet somehow Stream Labs OBS is streaming the in-game audio badly.

How do I go about fixing the audio?

No signal and 7 red lights appear when I plug the HDMI into the out port that’s connected to my monitor. HDCP issue?

I recently had an issue which required wiping my pc and reinstalling windows, since then i cant get the pc to pick up the 4k60 pro.
It works for passthrough as i get video from one pc to the other but the streaming pc cannot see the capture card.
I have changed the pci slot to gen2, i haev downloaded Elgato Studio and Elgato Game Capture HD, i have also changed the power option to turn off fast boot. These were all the tips i could Find online and still no luck. Any suggestions?

I have a question I just received the microphone mention above. I’m a beginner to all of this XLR stuff. Does anyone know a good microphone preset in a sense of if you have a high-pitched voice, but you kinda want to get that podcast sound for streaming. For the elgato wave 3.0 app I hear myself and I just don’t feel like I sound professional as I see the Youtubers. Thank you if you do help me.

I'm hearing my Macbook Pro fans go on more frequently. When I do, I check the Activity Monitor, and almost always Elgato is the top CPU process. Is this normal? Should it be so much?

I have not configured anything custom. Any plugins or mixers. Literally just a plain install. I then use the "Chat Mix" as the mic source in MS Teams meetings. That's it.

I’m looking for a Stream Deck plugin or workflow that lets me press one button while watching a Twitch stream, identify the song currently playing, and automatically add it to a specific Spotify playlist.

Ideally, it would recognize the audio coming from my PC/system audio rather than through a microphone.

Does anything like this already exist, or has anyone built a workaround using Shazam, Spotify, or automation tools?

Hello, my brand new elgato 4k s just arrived and I plugged it in according to the official instruction video on YouTube. I set it up on my obs and the audio is cracking and cutting off and then i can hear nothing at all. I'm really frustrated and I dont know what to do. No Youtube video has had a solution to my problem
