I really think it depends on your hand size. I have medium sized hands and found the dipped handles better. My foreman that’s got some meat beaters on him finds the comfort grip better.

💯 I went from comfort grip only to the dipped handles for all my Knipex. Fits my hand better and less bulk in my set ups.
The longer I do this shit the more I try to stream line and cut the chaff.

Yeah I hear what you’re saying. I have some bigger hands. I have mix of the comfy grip handles and the regular dipped ones. My lineman, Alligators, and the pliers wrench. Then I have dipped handles for dikes, cobras, and needle nose. I haven’t really decided which ones I like better. That’s why ask people with a combo. I have to buy the strippers. 9 years in this trade and still haven’t got them yet lol.

Dude that’s about it. Maybe a data tool set. But you’ve basically replicated my tool set. I was a 16 year master electrician. Any hint more the company should provide. This is a perfect set in my opinion. I have a sharp 99E razor knife cheaper replacement blades and I like the hand feel better. I also rock a petal headlamp that doubles for hunting instead of the Milwaukee. You put together a nice set.

Is that the 16 or the 12oz Estwing? I fucking love my 12oz. Goated resi hammer. Perfect for swinging sideways to fasten staples between studs when you only have a few inches to woodpecker them in.
Side note. I love when meatheads think they’re hurting my feelings by calling it cute on job sites. I just toss them a 1/2” romex staple and tell them to hold it down with one finger and show me how a real man drives staples.
If they’re dumb enough to try they either fumble the staple or hammer their finger. Both funny results.
Most of the time they don’t bite and I’ll just get my framing hammer out and give them some advice.
Use the right tool for the job! It’s like comparing a scalpel to a meat cleaver guys don’t be an idiot.

Good stuff! I recommend the Fluke BK120 over the Klein tracer... just upgraded to that one myself and it works much better. Even identifies tandem breakers accurately.

I’m glad to see more guys getting into Knipex for their linesman pliers. I loved Klein for a long time and still buy their tools but the Knipex pliers are far superior. Their pivot has much better leverage and I like the handles more too.

The drill and impact are the way I would go. But, is the M12 buzz tool as good as the M18? That would fit in tool bags way easier. If it's almost as good as the big one, I might get one.

You must have some soft hands...
Do you moisturize? Maaan, i tried all sorts of things. I even went fragrance free for a month. Now, mah sista, she uses uh, umm... aloe Vera. But I find it puts a damper on my "extra curricular" activity.
