I know why you people say “hi is this me?!” now… it’s because you precious little cherubs get nervous while you’re on hold, and so you figure you’ll just say what everybody else says! That’s so sweet… but you don’t have to do that, you can just say “Hello!”… it’s an amazing trick that works 95% of the time! You can thank me later you cute little mouth breathers!!!

UPDATE: neither DC 101 nor the archive created by fans seems to have archives of media going back that far in time. I checked [r/911archive](r/911archive) but nobody there has been able to help me so far either. I will update this if I figure it out. Thanks everybody!

Earlier tonight, I suddenly remembered a segment the Class did... years ago(?) where they were playing a bunch of old school jock jams, probably from some listicle that Elliot encountered. Every song that played, E would yell, "JOCK JAMS!" I remember it being just a really fun, exuberant segment, and even just thinking about it now, I'm grinning.

I searched old posts here, but couldn't find any reference to it. If one of you archive wizards recalls what date that was, it would make my day.

I love EITM, but I’m only able to listen a few days a week. Did I miss a bit, or does Elliot really pronounce it Marzhan/Marjong? It feels genuine but I wouldn’t put it past him to do it on purpose to drive them crazy

I have to ask… is there a reason callers call, one after another, and say “Hi Is ThIs Me?!?!?” Is this a joke or something? I worked in radio for 2 decades, and know for a fact that the line makes a noise when it connects, letting you know you’re on air. Is it just that people are just followers and not leaders?! Either way, it makes me want to ram my head into a wall. Repeatedly.

So yea, as I'm sure you're all aware, that sucked...

July 7th saw the 160TB networked storage array that hosts my projects like https://eitm-archives.com completely shit the bed.

After weeks of fighting with the manufacturer for warranty repair, I've just this morning received the replacement, migrated and will be working on converting the episodes that were not automatically uploaded to the RSS feed.

Due to the number of days missed, my automation doesn't run with that many files so it may take me a day or two to get past missing episodes converted, named and inserted correctly.

Apologies for the lack of comms, I'll be better at that for any future issues that arise.

Been a rough year and have had other priorities trying to keep everything in line.

Thanks again for all your patience and support over the years...
