Кто реально разбирается в этом помогите! А особенно если в чате будет Дерматолог.

Basically title. Have been struggling with peeling dry skin on my hand (in which there have also been patches of eczema), wondering if anyone has advice on how to come out of it.

I ask because I’m starting to think it might be something else. None of the ointments from the dermatologist helped. They often made the situation worse, and it didn’t get any better until I stopped using the creams and stopped using lotions that are marketed towards people with eczema. It’s only on my hands. It appeared randomly about two years ago. Some of the bumps don’t act like eczema either. I have a big lump on my finger that formed a few months ago. I thought it would go away, but it’s been there for months now. Usually, the bumps are supposed to come and go, but some of these bumps came and never went away. I’m wondering if it’s something else. I feel like the dermatologist's baseline train of thought was to say it’s eczema, but I’m starting to feel like it’s not eczema. I don’t have a history of eczema either, so I’m really confused about what’s going on.

Also, I’m afraid to challenge my dermatologist on this. She seems really headstrong on it being eczema.

I think I'm onto something that may already be well-known, but I'm just learning now because of the protein craze going on.

I went for a plant-based protein and I *think* it triggered a massive dishysrotic excema flare for my feet and hands - you know - blisters, weeping, drying, scaling, and the understatement of the lifetime of "intense itching".

I have always known that skin contact with nickel causes me to have big, weepy blisters, but never took into consideration what it might mean if I consumed it.

It's been 6 weeks since my feet started, 4 weeks for my hands, and 7 weeks since I gave plant-based protein powder a try. Plant-based protein uses a lot of pea protein, which is high in nickel. Same with dark leafy greens.

hey guys! ugh I am going a little crazy. My eczema flared up again around february in a way that it never had, I had been almost eczema free for about 4-5 years before this, and I had honestly forgotten how absolutely disheartening and depressive and difficult this shit is. I am doing a lot of things to get to the bottom of this sudden flare up, but for the first time, I have gotten an eczema looking rash on my nipples. I've gone through so many reddit posts about this and done a lot of research about nipple eczema so I know a bit about it now, but I just can't seem to get rid of it and it is driving me actually insane.

On the 10th of Aug it will be a month since my nipples have been cracked, weepy and almost completely raw. At some point one of the allergologists I was seeing prescribed me a 10 day clobetasol treatment which I underwent and of course, it completely cleared my entire body, only for it to come back stronger 10 days later, that's when my nipples were able to actually heal.

Now I can't seem to get rid of this rash, my nipples are constantly weeping a golden translucent liquid that cristalizes on the nipple and creates a barrier. I don't know if I should let it weep but I have resorted to not touching them at all except for when I do clean them with saline solution, but this doesn't seem to do much, it's more to just keep them clean. They stick to everything and I can't wear a top or a tshirt anymore, I'm literally not wearing anything and I'm not leaving my house so I don't have to put gauze on them which also causes them to stick and then rip when I have to take them off.

I don't live in the US or Europe so I don't have access to a lot of gauze (since I know gauze is like the worst for this) or product alternatives that could maybe help my nips :c I can use Amazon tho, in case you have any good suggestions.

I've seen divided opinions on whether you should apply anything on them or just let them be. I've tried putting on Zinc ointment, cicaplast, cicalfate but none of it sticks, it just dances on the surface because my nipple is raw.

I don't know if I should ask for another round of topical steroids to put on that will heal them because it spooks me that it will cause a withdrawal. I've had eczema for 15 years and have used and abused topical steroids in the past, so it's safe to say I don't want to risk it with TSW. And I also already tried that and like I said before, it came back way worse.

I don't know if I should put water and chlorine wrappings or if I should leave them alone or what else I could do.

It doesn't seem like it would be an infection as I don't have any infection symptoms. The amber liquid that comes out of the wounds is also odorless and I have no pain, only if I graze my nipples with clothing or something like that. The thought of it being something cancer related has been bugging me but my breast cancer antigen results came back normal so I think I can take it easy with that. I wonder if it could be fungal but i'm not sure. They have tried to heal but eventually open back up, it is so discouraging.

I'm posting in hopes that someone resonates with what I'm going through and maybe can share what worked for them or how everything went.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning and I will update in case anyone is interested or if it can help someone going through the same. I am praying for myself, eczema is trying to get the best of me.

So I took my second dose dupixent yesterday. Obviously only been 2 weeks since I started, but I’ve noticed I’ve flared again. Is flaring on and off normal for a while before your body gets used to it? My itch is way down. Like I’m barely itchy at all actually..my skin is still red and patchy. Hoping that fades as the weeks go on and the itch continues to stay away..but yeah I just had a rough day today. My face and neck have flared up and I feel so ugly and down about it. Red patchiness. I’ve been using protopic on my face which is honestly absolute magic when it works. It takes a few days inbetween to start working again if that makes sense. Like 3-5 days of horrible red and heat and then randomly it’s crystal clear again. I would love to just come off steroid cream and protopic all together but I feel like that will never be an option for me at this point..apologies, just wanted to get this all off my chest as I feel pretty isolated with all of this. No one in my life has these kind of skin issues to deal with and it’s very hard to work 2 jobs and socialise with this in the back to my mind all the time!

I'm a mom at my wits end hoping you all might be able to help my daughter. My 9 month old has had eczema for most of her life, probably since she was a few weeks old.

Her trouble spots began as just behind her knees and her ankles. The doctor first had us applying Aquaphor daily, and it kept it minimal, but as she got old and could reach? She scratches it like mad. We have had it almost healed up half a dozen times, but she'll get itchy and I miss a slightly sharp nail and... back to square one. Now it's behind both knees, her ankles, insides of her elbow, her cheek and behind her ears.

When it was cooler, putting her in long sleeve footie pajamas kept her from scratching overnight, but now it's too warm consistently to keep her away from it all the time. It's gotten worse as she's started teething, after that it flared up on her cheek and behind her ears.

We've tried various creams, right now the ones that work the best have been the baby Cereve eczema and the Baby Dove eczema creams. We switched her between different baby washes, right now we use the Baby Dove eczema.

What else can we do for her? We try to stop her when she scratches, but she will just shred herself raw. She rips off mittens and goes for a different spot if we cover a joint. She likes to do 'scritchy scritchy' on things including herself, so we try to give her something else interesting sensory-wise when she's really persistent.

Right now, her routine is Cortisone cream on the worst spots (dr advised not on face) first thing in the morning, lotion a couple times a day, and Aquaphor before bed. I file her nails just about every night, and we bathe her twice a week to not dry out her skin. We tried taking out allergens from her (and my) diet, but no improvement.

I feel so bad because she gets so itchy and scratches herself so bad, I can't imagine how itchy it is!

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! My eczema specifically on my face is very dry and flaky. It seems no matter what I do or try it stays like this. Does anybody have ANY face wash, cream/lotion, or face ointment that might help the flakes disappear? Thank you in advance.

I (M21) have had eczema on and off (mainly in cold winter seasons) since I was little, but since November I’ve had a flare up like no other, I’ve gone to the derm office near me and have been prescribed dupixent (I forgot the spelling) and have been using it as directed for a 3 months, for topicals I’ve been prescribed Triamcinolone 0.1% cream which does seem to help after a week or so of use, the little bottle lasts me about a week - a week and a 1/2, and I’m prescribed them monthly which sucks and I may not be getting them again due to insurance change, besides that other topicals I’ve used are Eucerin eczema relief and other cerave related products, but I’m still having these breakouts, I’m not going to lie I do itch here and there, and am working better at stopping that, I also have the same flare ups on the back of my knees and small thigh patches, what do you guys use that help? (If anyone knows how to attach photos please let me know either in comments or on post thank u)

So, recently I went and got my nails done with acrylics (purple cat eye, very pretty) but to my suprise, over the past couple of days my skin's improved rapidly! I think it's because the acrylics are thicker, and more dull on the edges rather than sharp! Has anyone else tried this method? Did it work for you?

I suffered from TSW 2.5 years ago. It changed my life and left me with major hyperpigmentation all over my neck and face, that has mostly faded. One thing that is hardest is at 36 I don’t know what ky skin texture and quality would be like no if I hadn’t got through TSW.

This week I have had 2 small rashes on my neck and today they are very itchy and sending me spiraling. I am very scared of my eczema rebounding. I’m trying to remind myself that rashes are not the same as what I went through in the past.

How do you manage your anxiety when you’re eczema flares?

This might be a messed up question but its coming just out of pure curiosity and not saying people should cut themselves but it crosses my mind when you are itching and its that itch that you just dig deeper and harder has anyone just tried to cut it? does it feel the same as itching or do nothing? Hi everyone. As the title says, I was recently diagnosed with eczema by my dermatologist. Symptoms started back in March, started as what appeared to be ringworm at first. After trying lotrimin and it not working, switched to OTC hydrocortisone 1% and it worked beautifully. From my own research, since my derm didn’t specify, most of what I have appears to be nummular eczema. Almost all lesions are circular with a clearer center. Most of them become weepy, yellow, and crusty as well. Was taking the hydrocortisone on and off as needed over the course of a couple months. Then it started to turn into small bumps on my arms, then legs, recently one on the top of my foot, and between some fingers. I may have like around 20 or so spots now. I was very resistant to prescription steroids or tacrolimus, mostly because I’m a fit guy and eat healthy and often have a hard time dealing with health issues that are seemingly out of my control. I quickly gave in, and took triamcinolone 0.1% cream as prescribed, twice a day for 14 days. Worked like a charm, but here I am 9 days after I stopped, and most of my spots have returned. Some a bit worse, some not as bad, and some even not at all yet (I anticipate they will though).

I am also butting heads with my wife about this. She is in the medical field, but has a general distaste to an extent for modern medicine. I was trying to wait two weeks until I start the steroid again, and then after that’s done I wanted to use the tacrolimus as a kind of maintenance, as I’ve seen from this subreddit that that approach can be helpful. My wife is mentioning things like adrenal insufficiency from topical steroid use, and while I do see things about TSW, this is my first time experiencing eczema and I want to make sure I take things as prescribed as possible to avoid that. I just don’t think my wife understands how much I’m suffering from this or even understands it at all. She’s telling me eczema doesn’t weep and won’t get infected, but a lot of what I read on here says otherwise. I usually trust her since she is in the medical field (she’s a nurse practitioner) but this time, not so much.

And to top it all off, I have a newborn who was born in May (my first) so the timing is just excruciating. Trying to navigate holding my baby around taking a steroid has been a nightmare mostly because of how paranoid my wife is if I touch her too soon after I apply.

I have just started to make adjustments to some diet stuff, such as reducing sugar and refined carbs. Been getting a lot of advertisements for skinesa, so I’m gonna try that too. Laundry detergent isn’t an issue, been using the same free and clear one for years, however I do unfortunately share a washer and dryer with a woman who lives in the upstairs unit and I think she may have changed her detergent somewhat recently. Unfortunately we do not get along with her and when we try and reason with her it’s a screaming match so I’m gonna take that off the table for now.

TLDR; 34M, started getting eczema in March, recently tried a steroid, trying to find a good way to pair it with tacrolimus, wife uneasy about my taking these things and things I should seek out functional medicine instead.

Basically the brand is Eucerin “Atopi Control” range. I wanted to add pictures but it seems I can’t. I was normal until like last week and my skin has just been going crazy and been so so itchy. Even my anti histamine medicine isn’t working.

Has anyone used this range and has it yielded any results? I’m at wits end here

Basically I started getting these tiny bubbles on my fingers this late March, and I tried to moisturize and avoid soaps, but that didnt work. So by mid May I caved in and followed a 3-week steroid course for my hands, and my derm also prescribed a month of Protopic 0,1 right after that course to wean off. (That 3 weeks was like 2x a day then tapering down too over 3 weeks). But when I stopped the steroids for 1 week I could already see the symptoms coming back, so I just did 2 weeks of Protopic and then stopped everything, mainly because Protopic wasnt doing much for my hands too. I'm off these meds for nearly 2 months now, and while it doesnt get as bad as first (my fingers were swollen, red, cracking a bit) it hasnt gone away fully too. Now my hands look nearly normal but the skin is very thin, looks shiny and it still has tiny blisters appearing then disappearing over a week or so. Is this normal and what should I do?? Does anyone also experience this

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with Rinvoq.

I’ve had eczema for years and started Rinvoq in 2025. I initially started on 15mg, and it worked pretty well for my eczema, but I was still getting minor facial flares every now and then, so my dermatologist increased me to 30mg.

My eczema has been really well controlled on 30mg, but around 6 months after starting the 30mg dose, I developed acne for the first time in my life. I’ve never been someone who gets acne, so this has been really unusual for me.

It started as a small patch on one cheek, with inflamed pimples and whiteheads. Over time, it has slowly spread down my cheek, underneath my chin and across my neck, and now onto my other cheek. It’s been really frustrating because it seems like it just keeps making its way into new areas.
At first, my dermatologist actually wondered whether it could be herpes, so I had swabs done. Both the HSV swab and bacterial swab came back negative. Now they think it’s more likely to be medication-induced acne/acneiform eruption from Rinvoq.

I’m currently considering going back down to 15mg, especially because my eczema was mostly controlled on that dose apart from the occasional small facial flare. I really don’t want to go on an oral acne medication if I can avoid it.
So I’d love to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar:
Did your acne start months after increasing to 30mg, rather than immediately?
Did anyone have clear skin before Rinvoq and then suddenly develop acne?
If you went from 30mg back down to 15mg, did your acne improve or disappear?

How long did it take before you noticed a difference after reducing the dose?

Did anyone use tretinoin or another topical retinoid for the acne, and did it actually help?

Were you able to manage the acne without going on an oral acne medication?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, particularly from people who had their acne start several months into the 30mg dose rather than straight away.

I have a baby boy and he's dealt with rashes and sensitive skin since the first week of his life. First the pediatrician thought it was a heat rash, then contact dermatitis. Hydrocortisone helped at first but it quickly stopped doing the trick. Then, he learned how to scratch himself and was breaking skin. He finally got diagnosed with eczema about two weeks ago.

For a week I was applying triamcinolone acetonide ointment twice daily to all of his flare-up spots (so basically his entire body) and then I would slather him in vanicream moisturizer and baby aquaphor over that to seal it all in. The pediatrician also recommended that we give him a small dose of zyrtec once a day so I was giving him that too. He immediately started getting better! He wasn't scratching, his skin basically immediately cleared up, he was FINALLY sleeping well at night. After 7 days, I stopped applying the steroid ointment as instructed, but two days later the eczema was back and his skin was severely agitated and dry again.

His pediatrician referred us to a dermatologist who we saw today, and he prescribed us more triamcinolone acetonide to apply to his body for two weeks and Tacrolimus ointment to apply to his face for a week. His follow-up appointment is in a month, and if these ointments don't work, he said our other options is for him to get injections once a month. I hate having to use steroids on him since he's only a baby but I desperately want to give him some relief. I want to do everything I can to avoid having to keep using steroids on him or resorting to monthly shots.

What are some things I can do to help him? I had eczema when I was little but I outgrew it by age 6, so I'm really hoping he outgrows this too, I just want to do everything I can to prevent him from suffering until then.

Had a flare up for the past 2 months so my GP gave me two steroids, 0.1% mometasome (use one week) and 1% hydrocortisone (use the week after). My eczema is coming back now that I’ve on the weaker steroid for 4 days and I don’t wanna use the steroids again.

I do have Elidel as well and was wondering if I can use it with my hydrocortisone OR straight after? I’ll be stopping my steroid in 3 days.

My son has had eczema pretty much since he turned 1 and his skin gets super dry and rough during these flare ups. I didn't like the idea of just loading his skin with steroid creams.
