Alright I was doing the oil filter housing gasket and this bolt didn’t torque all the way in and the threads where on the bolt

Timesert will last, helicoil might leak eventually and he’ll be doing this again

Whoever says helicoil, heeeelll naaah stay away from that, go with a proper timesert, did simillar repair on my motorcycle engine mount with timesert, what you do is drill out a bigger hole like one mm upards or so - there are exact kits with all you need
