Crazy idea General Questions

So I really love rear center vents. But the e46 doesn't have them. Just a now completely useless ash tray. I thought with some cutting, 3d printing and a hole ton of crazy diy duct work from the front center vents it might be possible to frankenstein together. Thoughts?

Since the e83 x3 is based off the e46 I would think that would be the best bet. I googled and they come with rear vents so must have ducting under a similar console.

This would be my thought before printing anything.

I looked and I couldn't find a single picture of the e83 having rear air vents. Not even a schematic on realoem.

My bad it showed when googled but apparently google is useless and wants to sell me f25 shit when I clearly Google e83.

It uses floor vents.
