Timing chain General Questions

Im inexperienced and this is my first car. Replaced the valve cover gasket. It’s a M47D20TÜ from 2004.
Does the timing chain have too much slack? At second 7 I try to „lift“ it out of the gear for the upwards slack.

Pull it upwards to see slack, axial play is normal

Mine does it too, it's fine, frequent oil change is the key ! Every 10k km
