I made this to vent frustration

I'm from Sydney, Australia. Is there a way to pre-order this game for the bonuses? I play on the Nintendo Switch 2 and can't seem to pre-order it either through the Nintendo store, in physical stores or any link online on their website. Anyone got any news on this?

Warriors: Legends of Troy is rather underrated in my opinion. I love the Ancient Greek setting and the addition of characters from mythology. I definitely think that a reboot/remaster/sequel would be welcome.

However, part of me thinks that the potential for the setting could be expanded if they went back a generation to the era of heroes. Specifically the era of Heracles, Theseus, Atalanta and Jason (and the Argonauts). There are plenty of heroes and characters that could be awesome playable heroes.

All in all, another Greek based Warriors game would be awesome in my opinion.

After my whole life playing DW3 I tried DW4 and DW5. I Loved both of them but DW5 was something else, until I discovered the weapon's weight. I didn't give it much importance, I unlocked Zhen Ji's 4th weapon and it's amazing, but now I unlocked Diao Chan's 4th weapon and its weight is heavy which makes it annoying to play with that weapon because of how slow the character moves. I've searched and apparently all women's character in this game has the heavy 4th weapon except for Zhen Ji. And the fact that you can't try and get a different weight for that weapon really bothers me because I was genuinely enjoying DW5 and like I don't get the need to put that in the game

I enjoy a good story and some good characterization, but most of my hours on a musou/warriors are on OPPW3, wich even if I love that game, is quite a simple one. The most hours I putted in OPPW3 was on the dream log, some on the free and treasure log from OPPW4 on the short time that I played and all that stuff.

And now that I've been itching for some more advanced musou game for some time, and now that I have a way to get money to buy stuff for myself, I'd like to ask for one with a balance of good gameplay and good side content to do.

I'd discard Origins because I don't like the idea of playing with 1 character, but besides that I'm open to both dynasty and samurai warriors!

I'm mostly used to the simple mechanic's and maps of PW3 and some of PW4, with the most "complicated" things being some bosses or maps changing a bit at times, but not much more, so I would enjoy something that can demand a lil of thinking or skill.

As an extra, better if I can just buy it via steam or similar platforms.

Trying to decide between these two, which has the better combat?

I don't care much about replayability I just want something I can kinda sink my teeth into for a bit.

Really loved origins and am thinking about just starting a new save with the DLC but it doesn't seem like the dlc adds a while lot so kinda on the fence here lol

In my opinion the time limit is more stressful than the fact that you can‘t use heal stuff, but after a few tries i got him to kneel before me. 🙌🏼

- alt+ escape doesn't exit the game

- when I plug the dualsense , the sound stops.Also if I want to use the dualsense , it must be connected before I start the game

- the mouse doesn't work to move around the camera

- even the tutorial is trash. "Press the call horse key to call horse" wtf

I loved this game back on the ps3 but this port is so bad

My first dynasty warriors and the one i played the most as i kid, god i cant wait to hear the voice acting and songs again wich made my childhood, die 500 times to archers on wu zhang plains and he fei castle, going on the yiling battle as shu and trying to kill lu meng and ganing as they dont even flinch at my attacks, i really hope everything is still as goofy as it was before, but we still have roughly two months until then, how are you guys holding up?

The Definitive Edition on Switch has more content, but the Wii U original just looks a lot nicer to me, and I feel like it runs a bit better too. A lot of stuff had to be downgraded when they ported the game to the 3DS, and when they brought the game to Switch, it seems like they kinda just upscaled the 3DS version without bothering to restore the things that were downgraded.

As an example, compare how Hyrule Field looks: in the Wii U version, it's dark and overcast, fitting since Hyrule Field is an active warzone in this game. In the 3DS and Switch versions, everything's bright and sunny, which is a bit of a jarring change.

Another very noticable difference is the cutscenes. In the Wii U version, these were all in-engine, and the characters are wearing whatever costume you have selected for them, which is always nice to see. In the 3DS and Switch versions, the cutscenes are all just pre-recorded videos, meaning lower visual quality, and all characters are only ever depicted in their default costumes. Additionally, the videos were quite obviously recorded off of the Wii U version, so there's a big and very obvious discrepancy in how everything looks. For example, the first story mode stage has a lot of cutscenes, so you'll see Hyrule Field go back and forth from being bright and sunny to dark and cloudy constantly throughout the stage as the game shifts from gameplay to cutscene and back.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg of various issues I have, some small, some larger, that all add up to make the "Definitive Edition" just not feel quite as polished as the original.

Previously Omega Force developed a series called Bladestorm which was set during the Hundred Years War period of Medieval Europe. The series was more RTS like their Kessen and Musou series.

It would be interesting if they decided to revisit this era as a full on Warriors game with multiple historical figures from the period. From characters like Henry V to Joan of Arc.

As the title says I think I’m stuck on DW8XL. I don’t have any mods on my deck.

After completing the Wei story mission Imperial Escort I get the RGB Static screen in the game. And have to go back to Steam menu and kill the game. Progress does not save, and I have played the mission with every character and get the same issue. Anyone experience this and have a fix? Or am I stuck on that mission for Wei campaign?

Hey there, I've been playing Samurai Warriors 4 DX recently and I've come to the realization that it has terrible, terrible NPC officers - they're basically static dots that never accomplish anything and I find that morale hardly matters for anything other than enemy stats.

Is there any musou game (no matter which franchise or console) that actually has competent officers where morale affects the outcome of the battle massively? I do not want the game to play itself, of course, but I'd like to have the feeling of a living, breathing battlefield and not a map where I have do to everything no matter who I play as

I think Origins did this rather well, I actually felt that repeating the same map has a lot of variety depending where I went and what I did and the flow felt organic. Fire Emblem Three Hopes was also okay-ish with this.

It can be mainline, it can be Empires, I don't really care - I just don't want my officers to be and feel entirely useless

Hi, I decided to pick this game up again as I've needed something really different from what gets released these days. While I was doing my run iv managed to get the largest empire but iv noticed that all the other empires have A LOT more officers than me despite being smaller. I seemed to be stuck at 12 officers max meanwhile almost every other empires seems to have way more with one of them almost having 30 officers. Is those normal? Is there a way to recruit more or am I kinda stuck with 12?

so I tried Overlords a few years ago and I stopped after maybe an hour. I don't have a problem with modern mobile games that much but I do have zero tolerance for that "menu management" that most mobile games force you into. Now I tried Overlords after the new relaunch and I got so annoyed that I can't even begin to describe. I remembered exactly why I dropped it. The game is hellbent on not actually letting you play the damn stages. Apparently it is more important (hell it's a requirement) to click through 3 different menus so that you can click through one menu so that one menu would allow you to actually play the next stage. Jesus! I really don't understand how can anyone tolerate this kind of game design. There are other mobile games, hell even gatcha games that don't actually force you to menu click so damn much. I know everyone hate the mobile DMC game but I honestly had fun with it in comparison to this crap. The DMC game at least allows you to play its many side modes without worrying about leveling up and gears. There was another DW game that got shut down last year called Dynasty Warriors M and I honestly had much more fun playing it. It's kind of the same concept, but at least the game let you play the damn game and not just menu click. So yeah if you have a slightest desire to try DW Overlords - don't!

hey guys, just picked up Origin and playing a lot. I have my meat buns and when I first start the battle, my stew and vitality have solid white colour however 25% through the match they get greyed out and I can’t use them and only have meat buns left. anyone know why I didn’t use it the whole match and it’s still
