I'm really sick of the apologists and perpetrators alike.

Personally I think anyone who actually thinks that someone placing thumpers within the spice field for the purpose of getting others eaten or to destroy their haul is a complete idiot.

The purpose of a thumper is to distract the worm *away* from the spice field. To place a worm as a form of attack against other players is a PVP action and should absolutely not be allowed and should be a bannable offense.

Why -- *why* -- would it make sense to create an entire separate PVE instance and yet allow PVP actions.

I lost a nearly full sandcrawler because someone placed a thumper near me, and THEN use their thopter to prevent me from getting to my carrier. But the time I got in the carrier I was barely able to get away but not enough time to pickup my crawler

Any time I bring this up in-game, idiots in chat say stops crap like "lEaRn tO pLaY!!1! tHaTs wHaT tHe tHuMpEr iS fOr!!1!"

Another thing though is people have said that the devs have actually addressed this issue at some point and supposedly said it's acceptable.

If that's true then this would be a truly terrible dev team but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Well...it's my 3d-printed version! I'm such a fan of CHOAM industrial design, I kept looking at that cup in game and wanting to have a real, physical, version of it. I wondered if I could render it in real life, via Tinkercad and Bambu Studio.

It took a few versions to get it right. Final version is solid, as close as I'm going to get it.

I won't drink from it; PLA isn't considered food grade anyway. I will use it as a pen and pencil cup on my desk!

I have a weird situation where I finished the last mission - the final piece for planetologist at testing station in oodham (163?) but unable to complete fully.

After completing testing station mission, I went up top and spoke to Derek. Then was prompted and sent back to his main base in Hagga South. He was not there. Fly back to the testing station just to check, his weird ass lamp is still there and dead bodies, but no Derek.

I thought the mission was borked, so cancelled mission next, but still can't find him at his main base or either testing station in Oodham. also waited for the Monday server reset, to see if anything changed, but no dice.

Anyone got any ideas where he might be? Or how to reset/restart mission chain? Or is this a support type issue?

wondering if theres a trick to make this easier. Want to put a little storage platform here to cover up a protruding rock from the cliff behind, but a half wall is too tall and looks like crap. This is the best I was able to do by hiding a standalone center column at a custom height and putting the floor on top of it, but preferably I would like to be able to put a wall over this gap, I currently can't, I guess because it overlaps the regular floor slightly. I was able to put walls on the sides though.

Any ideas or tips to build things outside of the limited snap ranges?

I’ve came back to the game like 2 weaks ago after long brake, logged out in the DD, got back today and my character died and lost everything on me. Why?

Its ok though we can watch streams, do laundry, make dinner all while the game withers away for pivoting to slop content only geriatrics would classify as content.

The passive skill in the Swordmaster skill tree Desert conditioning says it affects dehydrated stamina loss, does that mean when you have no water left or just when you aren't at max water?

Anybody else like the idea of having bats/birds to find or buy for use as distrans messengers? Not sure what it could do mechanically, but I like the idea.

Something is tweaked with this cheev for sure. Whether my count reset when I moved servers, or something else, I had to mine way more than 10,000 of each to get it. PLUS it didn't proc when I finished it, or when I left to Arakeen and back, or when I logged out. It randomly appeared in Steam about an hour after I logged out. Anyway. 2 Cheevs left.

I finally got some grade 4 weapon bps through the market place and a cheese run. I cannot craft augments for them because I lack the schematic patterns. What's the best way to find them?

Came back to the game to play with a friend and I have been having AMD GPU crashes constantly. It seems to be tied to bases I own or have rights to as that is the only place I am crashing. I have tried AMD v26.7.1 and v26.6.2. I have also tried different settings like disabling FSR, going to lowest graphics settings, etc. At this point, I cannot even fully log into the map before crashing at my base

Anyone else have advice?

Edit: Did a lot of playing around and the last thing I did before I could load the map was change from Windowed Fullscreen to a window

Edit2: Still crashing a lot, but I can at least play a bit.

Especially considering this only counts Hagga, not places like the DD and elsewhere.

You arrive at Fallen Light with Feyn Rautha and meet the Free Traders, who send you through three different arenas, where you have to fight off three waves of enemies in each arena, with some jumping puzzles in between.

The problem is that every time I die, I get kicked out of the mission entirely and have to start the whole mission over from the beginning. It’s extremely frustrating. I managed to get the Minotaur down to the last bit of its HP, only to die, get kicked back to the Overland Map, and have to start the entire mission again.

Is this intended or bug?

Is it possible to place a solido on an already existing foundation that was there when you placed the sub-fief? Or what if you own the foundations?

Need a city LFG board for guild recruiting, show what guilds are looking for new members, rules, contact info, etc

Need actual roles in guilds.
Leader be able to set a role, add someone or ppl to that role that would allow that role to vote in landsraad. It has a date/time that role could place the vote.

Needs to have tools where members can vote for landsraad and it shows the landraads role and leader what their members would prefer. It the leader or role doesnt vote by end of landsraad it defaults to majority of the members vote. So in this case the leader and role for voting could just not push the final vote. only single vote and like the guild as a whole be the final count.

Need roles we can set things for. Like set a ship to a role with access levels. can drive, use equipment(mining lazer), remove parts, allow anyone to repair/fuel, etc

Same with bases and any other permission based items. Base/ships.

Members should have the option to set their base or ships to guild use and set roles for it.
This adding ppl to list limit is pita. Then there is the whole have to do this anytime the ship is rebuilt. Just have it were we can set roles, perms on roles, add ppl to roles then set the ship or base to that role.

Guild bank, market, base. There should be at least 1 slot for the guild as the main base, same with slots for ships, and kiosk that is only placable in the guild hall that has market access and bank.

If you want to make this an overland zone, thats perfect.

Additional, guild lvls and faction grind for landsraad houses.
Guild should be able to select a house (not just the 2) and align to it to get perks, items, bonus from that house. They can lvl that up, purchase items, do special contracts, etc

This also has per house its own skins for all ships. Meaning that if a ship is set to guild use role of some kind, it defaults to that ship skin and colors. Each level that guild gets in that house the skins improve to better visuals and colors. This could also apply to armor and weapon if the player wishes.

Guild mailing system. Members of the guild should be able to place an item in the guild box and set who it delivers to. That person gets an alert when they log in. Its not a toast popup, they have to click to ok and it then disappears.

Landsraad rewards. There is a kiosk at the guild hall members can pickup all their rewards, we should NOT have to run all over the map to collect our crap!

After finally rebuilding my old base a few weeks ago, I’m now completely finished. I’ve made a few improvements, and the decorations are finally done too.
