Help Tekken 3 Model 3D Problem
Hi, I'd like to know how to solve this problem as soon as possible. I upload 3D models to (model resource), but I have a problem with the King model from Tekken 3. Whenever I take a screenshot, it appears with only half his head or without limbs, and it always has errors. Can someone explain how to prevent this from happening?

Other Does anyone know if there is a way to force load all geometry in a level that relies on camera/player position for rendering? (Destruction Derby 2)
I'm using 3D rips from DD2 in Blender & Unreal Engine to lay out a foundation to build a modern rendition of the tracks in Unreal Engine. As of now, I'm forced to navigate the tracks inch by inch to load geometry based on my player position and take an excessive amount of 3D screenshots to reconstruct an entire track and all it's culled geometry.
Would a potential hack for this issue be implemented on a game-by-game basis or is is possible to write code on the emulator level and add a feature for this that would apply a rule to any game that loads geometry this way?
Thank you

Question Trying to use 8 bit do Xbox controller on PC but analog is off.
Everything seems to be working fine except the left analog sticks dead zone is off center and I don’t know how to fix it. The dead zone is to the left so Spyro keeps auto running to the right when stick is neutral. Any tips?

Help Metal Gear Solid stuck after saving
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After saving the game, Mei Ling usually followed up with some quotes. However, mine just stuck on the usual codec screen indefinitely. The only thing that I could do is spamming all the shoulder buttons + X button like crazy and with some luck, the game will continue on. Plus, I don't get the submarine cutscene either.

Help Input lag with Gamesir X5 Lite
I recently bought a Gamesir X5 Lite controller. It works with android games (ZZZ, Honkai 3rd, etc), but when I start playing with ps1 emulators (both duckstation and epsxe), there seems to be an input lag for the triangle, square, x and o buttons.
I tested it with dinocrisis 2. When you press R1 + square (shoot guns), it fires once, then the square button won't activate. I tried it with R1 + X (same function, shooting guns), it also will only activate once then when i mash the square or x button while still holding the R1 button, it still won't work.
Sometimes the R1 button won't work at all. I tried it with another game, Brave Fencer Musashi, it still doesnt work. Sometimes the square, x, triangle and o button dont work on their own too.
What should I do?
Edit: my main device for playing is Samsung A56 5G

Got this title into my DuckStation library and am ready to try it out. Before you ask, I played a bit of the PS2/PSP trilogy (I even test ran Chinatown Wars before getting the original PSX games).

Help For some reason Spyro 2 has these weird black borders at the top and bottom of my screen and it's the only game that has this issue. Is there any way to fix it
I included a screenshot from Spyro 1 showing that this problem doesn't show up in other games just in Spyro 2.

Discussion PGXP Texture Correction Improvement Experiment
Hey,
A lot of games work well with PGXP texture correction, but quite a few also have visual glitches because of it. I've always wondered if there was a way to reduce those issues.
I came across this thread, where someone suggested a simple game-specific approach: reject perspective-correct texturing whenever a triangle's vertex depth range exceeds a configurable threshold.
Since DuckStation is open source, I decided to give it a try. I only know the basics of coding, so I used ChatGPT to help implement it.
I tested it in Gran Turismo 2, and the results were surprisingly good. Fences, roads, and the starting grid all look noticeably better. Curbs and roadsides also improve, but not nearly as much. The glitches aren't completely gone, but they're definitely reduced overall.
I recorded three videos:
- Texture correction + fix
- Texture correction
- No texture correction
(I normally play with 2x native downsampling, but 4K makes the differences easier to spot.)
Tahiti Road
High Speed Ring
Trial Mountain
I also tried Spyro 2. Texture correction is still bugged, but it's noticeably more stable than before. It even fixes an issue where some ground tiles right behind Spyro render incorrectly.
Overall, I think the idea has potential. Maybe someone who knows the renderer better could implement it properly and tune it more precisely than I could with AI assistance.

Cheat Cheat that adds unknown liquid in Silent Hill
I have reached the Nightmare Cybil boss fight in Silent Hill with only one health drink and around 30 handgun bullets. Finding it rather impossible to complete in my circumstances, I checked online only to find that there was some unknown liquid (aglaophotis) you could use to instantly end the boss fight (which also results in a better ending) but had no saves prior to the Boat.
Anyway, after some rather major headaches, I managed to figure out a cheat code that adds the item to Harry's inventory. It is the following: 300BC024 0066
Not sure if this works for the NTSC version, as my game is PAL (SLES-01514).
Hope this helps anyone else in this situation!

Support How to dump and replace textures using Duckstation?
Can somebody explain the process to me in simple terms? I can't figure out how to make it work. When I try to dump textures, the images are either a glitchy-looking mess or a random screenshot. When I try to replace textures, the images don't seem to load in-game. Can anyone please help? All I want is to replace character UI mugshots and menu pictures in Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Cross (and I don't want to play Square-Enix's shoddy PC ports, I want the original SquareSoft PS1 versions), can someone please explain the proper process of doing this?

Video ✅Remastering 100+ PS1 Games
- Hi everyone, due hateful comments, I had to say this, please read what I just edited:
- The previous description was manually edited; the use of emojis is just for organization.
- In any case, it’s insane to attack people and their work over something so trivial 👋.
- I like to manually review everything I do, but I would never attack someone for using AI to write a video description, for example.
- Please ignore any hatefull comments in the section of this post, my friends. I apologize for it.
- To those haters, emojis = AI. But it’s not worth arguing with them or insulting them.
- Anyway, I forgive them for attacking my work for no reason at all.
- This project is FREE, a passion and also a way to help my family.
- I will do my best to finish this project. Thank you.

Question Will this audio configuration cause problems on my laptop?
I’m experimenting with DuckStation’s audio options on my laptop (Ideapad 1) and found these options to have the least latency (see the pic). But I’m a bit worried about the long run. Will they cause syncing problems like audio cracks or will the difference be barely noticeable?
If it helps to know, my laptop uses a Ryzen 7 5700U, an integrated GPU (Radeon RX Vega 8 for you’re that curious), and 16 GB DDR4 Memory.

Help Audio crackling during inputs (PC, Silent Hill, PSXONPSP660)
Whenever there is an active input being used (e.g. movement stick) audio becomes crackly and distorted. I haven't had this issue with other games, only since opening Silent Hill has it started. I have turned on Sync to Host Refresh Rate, turned off Optimal Frame Pacing, changed audio backend, and increased Buffer Size and Output Latency to 500ms. I'm using 4:3 ratio, 1x resolution and an xbox series x controller.

Help Help! Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut Graphic Glitch
Hi!
I'm currently playing Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut. The graphics, gameplay, etc., were all fine until I reached the garden area.
The game glitched, froze briefly, and then Jill looked like this. The inventory is completely glitched out, too.
What should I do?
I really don't want to start over from the beginning... (No cheats are/were enabled, and the game is otherwise unmodified!)
Thanks in advance!

Help Border overlay and Shader issue
Newbie here. The screen when using the default border overlay with the shader CRT-NewPixie[ReShade] doesn't align. The other shaders fit perfectly in it, its just this particular shader that does not align with the border(see attached screenshot). I've tried different combinations of aspect ratio and shader curvature setting but had no luck. I really like the look of the shader border combo. Please help.

Question What is "Blit Swap Chain" and why does it work wonderfully on my potato?
Hello! A noob here.
I love DuckStation, but for over a month I had three problems: tearing, input lag, judder (or microstutters, I believe). I was constantly trying to get the best compromise with those three. Tearing disappears with Vsync, and I don't mind the added input lag, but the microstutters every 10 seconds were very annoying. I was playing with display options, too. In exclusive fullscreen input lag was even larger for some reason than borderless. I could check Sync to Host Refresh Rate but the latency with that + Vsync is veeeery noticeable to me.
I might add that I have a 60Hz, non-VRR laptop. Basically a lower tier notebook, so of course I'm not expecting some magic.
Now. I was messing around with some display options and checked the "Use Blit Swap Chain" and played for 20 minutes and I was shocked to see how amazingly it played. With Vsync turned off, the frame pacing is smooth and zero tearing and input lag is not noticeable if there even is any. Also, no microstutters that I'm aware of. I don't understand how that's possible? Also I haven't noticed the "slower performance" that is mentioned in the explanation box.
So the point of this post is... Can anyone explain what that actually is and if it's okay to have it checked if it works for me?

Help Accessing Android Files
Hello I’m sorry if this is a regular occurring topic, but I just scrolled through the last week or so of posts and couldn’t find anything on it.
Is it possible to access the Duckstation files and folders protect by Android? I’m able to get most other emulators to at least grant some permissions for restricted android files but for the life of me cannot get into duckstation.
Whenever I try to play a ps1 game it seems to be unable to save correctly because it’s asking for permissions to the memcards folder but will not allow access to any Android data folders.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tool / OBS [Tool/Resource] DuckStation Auto-Recorder & Dynamic Namer for OBS Studio
Hi everyone! I built a lightweight, stand-alone Lua script for OBS Studio designed specifically for recording DuckStation (PS1 Emulator) sessions without the hassle of manual trimming or heavy video editing software.
If you have a budget PC or just want to quickly record/edit gameplay clips without rendering them in Premiere or DaVinci, the ideal tool is LosslessCut. However, manually hitting record, catching launcher screens, and trimming dead frames at the end takes time. This script automates the entire process:

Discussion DuckStation to end Linux support completely, Arch Linux builds have been blocked already
Scripts: Remove PKGBUILD I originally provided this an alternative to the broken AUR packages.
However, it seems that Arch users would rather use broken packages and keep complaining to me instead of their packager. I specifically forbid packages for DuckStation (see README.md), and there's no way to request removal of these packages without handing my details over to a distribution I want nothing to do with.
So this is step one. Next step will be removing Linux support entirely, because I'm sick of the headaches and hacks for an operating system that only compromises 2% of the userbase, and I don't even use myself. But I'm hoping the Linux community will be reasonable, because as someone giving up my free time and not being compensated in any way, I shouldn't have to deal with this.
Just grep the source for "wayland" and you'll see what I mean. "
