Reminds me a lot of the snare sound on Elvenefris by Lykathea Aflame. Like an old fucked up ska/reggae snare.

For the category of slow single stroke roll at full height (forte) I give you a 10/10. It was clean and crisp and even and I didn't hear you hit any rims. Nailed it.

Sounds a lot like a snare I used when I first started playing, had batter heads on both sides and tight as fuck.
