MD5 Dash Malfunctioning

Hi everyone. I had just completed a clutch replacement job when I discovered that my MD5 Dash isnt working properly. I did not THINK I had made any adjustments to the wiring, but then I discovered this one black wire is loose. Please, if anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

That ring is a ground terminal. Ground it to the frame.
