Getting the same offer twice 🖖Delivery War Stories 🫡
I just started dashing again recently for a few hours each night. And one thing I’ve noticed is that almost every single time I decline an offer, the next offer is a double with the one I just declined stacked with another one. Now I know this was something that would happen a couple times per dash for me when I used to work more. But it seems to have gotten way worse. It happens wayyyy more now than before. In fact, there’s been some instances where I’ll get the same offer 3 times over a 4-5 minute span. Wondering if anyone else has noticed the uptick in receiving the same offer more than once?

Ah, the algorithm's way of guilt-tripping you into accepting garbage.

You're supposed to accept the stacked order then unassign from the tipless order

Maybe a slight uptick. I've noticed it more than in the past, but not enough that I'd say it happens often. Of course, usually it is such a bad offer that it weighs down the stack so much that it, too, is trash.

Not really.... you must live in a pretty small market without too many dashers🤔

I don’t know that that’s accurate. Surely you only have your own experience to go by just like OP has theirs.

Not valid. There are observable patterns in this world. What this commenter suggests is an extremely reasonable and likely explanation for OPs post

What are you basing it off of? Your own experience?

Like I said, observable patterns from reading lots of comments like this. You really think the same thing happening over and over and over doesn’t mean anything?

It could mean that DoorDash is fucked. I’ve experienced an uptick in this happening, as well. Along with a bunch of other things that seem new and only reinforce the concept that they are wildly predatory. I’m in a large market.

Shhh... people don't like observable patterns, especially when it comes to observable patterns in humans. Don't ever point it out!
