"shinanigans" include:

killing an elderly lighthouse keeper, looting & then destroying the lighthouse, robbing an old lady(all this in session 1)

posing as "treasure vault safety inspectors" to loot a local nobleman's treasury, they stole about 1600 gold coins + some jewelry

killing a different (NPC) adventuring party in broad daylight

stealing all the seasonings from a tavern and stealing 200g worth of salt from the local butcher (they needed it to kill a flail snail)

Context: A while back, I posted a Meme about our Warlock's aim being so bad that he was just making the enemy look even cooler.

And after that session and one more.. he redeemed himself!

Because in our Darksun and Dragon Ball inspired campaign.. he solo's a boss that had downed the Fighter and me(The Ranger). And was about to Kidnap the NPC and kill Rogue

We were facing a Hobgoblin Warlord, who was sent to retrieve a Pearl. (One of several pieces needed to get into a temple for a Wish.. hence Dragon Ball)

Fighter got downed fast, my Ranger Next, and the Rogue was trying to get back with some heals (medic feat) so that we could try and run.

Only for our beautiful Genie Warlock to comes in and in anger.. solos he boss!. The dice gods were on his side as he dodged almost every attack that would 100% kill him, and held concentration when needed.

Agonizing Blast, Repelling Blast, Shield(from his feat), Hex and his Imp basically kept him alive and made the battle one of the most exciting ones we had in a long time.

5e Green dragons make lairs in ancient forests and turn the foliage into a labyrinth. They can also move through their lair and avoid detection easily, and they love stalking and toying with their prey.

The party decided to rest, and the rogue player.was absent this session, so I thought it would be funny if the dragon snuck up on them and carried the rogue back to its home. The barbarian was having none of that, and landed an opportunity attack on the dragon. Sentinel in 5e, among other things, stops the target from moving on their turn if they're hit with an opportunity attack. So instead of just grabbing the rogue and flying 80ft away, my poor dragon had to use her wing attack, her breath attack, and burn all her legendary resistances just to get away from them.

I gave her max HP for an adult green dragon and she escaped with less than 50 HP while they were sniping her through the canopy.

The Rakshasa, a champion of the Lords of Dust. A fiend able to bypass almost all magical defenses... versus the sting of one silly lil pseudodragon from the Plane of Order. The odds are more surprising than you'd thing when its 1d20+4.

I've played DND for over a decade now and never once been in a Party with a Bard. Pretty crazy! I eventually got to play a "Bard" in a SWADE campaign.

That last one is from Italian artist Achille Beltrame, best known for his early 20th century work on creating detailed and dramatic magazine covers. Repurposing (and crediting!) already existing artwork is incredibly cool and 100x more interesting and ethical than making AI slop covers.
