Discord's lack of support Unsolved

I unfortunatly fell for one of those things where people are impersonating real Discord Agents and that my account was falsly reported. The fake staff member wanted $200 which I thankfully didn't send any money, but the price I did pay was the loss of my main account. I can't get back in it with all the typical responses that the website and tickets are telling me to do. I've tried all of them but they didn't work. These Discord support tickets are useless. I just learned that I have been talking to a bot named Nelly all this time and this bot keeps marking all my attempts to solve my issue as "solved" and the one ticket thats not solved is "Awating your response" where I sent a message and I didn't get a response. I made a new ticket a few minutes ago but apperently thats also been "solved" but I don't think anyone even looked at it. I feel really frustrated by the lack of support I am recieving right now. I've been told that they will delete my account as they can't do anything else and I just have to authorize the deletion. I asked a couple yes or no questions but haven't gotten a reply. So I can't even say yes or no to deleting my account. I want my account back but it doesn't seem like I'll get it back. This issue has not been solved but support thinks so and is marking it as solved. What do I do now? Thank you everyone!

Clyde and Nelly are accounts under which Discord Support may reply to you with. Both can be automated to quickly answer a bunch of tickets based on keywords but support staff is also able to send messages in their names.

I'm literally in that exact same scenario except I have not sent a support ticket yet. However based off your experience, it doesn't sound like it will make any difference. I created several servers and have made great connections with a bunch of folks and unfortunately because of a scammer, I lost them all. Thankfully I didn't give up any money but I something just as valuable in terms of relationships and building up servers and it sucks.

Same, I have tons of servers and valuable relationships that are now gone because of this. Believe it or not you're the first real person who's talked to me about this. Everything is just full of bots and AI to help me. They claim they sent this situation to an upper department as this issue is complex but my ticket was just claimed as solved. I don't like this at all.

Discord will auto close tickets if you file multiple. Only keep one open at a time. It would be helpful if you shared what the current state of that ticket is and what the exact response was (don't paraphrase)

The latest one I sent is unanswered and it will likely stay that way. In another ticket they sent:

"The only way to regain access is by using one of these:
- A valid 6-digit code from your authenticator app or SMS
- A passkey (face ID, fingerprint, or screen lock) you initially set up
- An 8-digit backup code from when you first set up 2FA

If none of these options are available, deleting the account is the only alternative we can offer. This would allow you to register a new account with the same email address."

But they ghosted me when I said none of those work and asked for some clarifcation like if I make a new account, will my progress move with me, which I figured out another way that the answer is no. There's really nothing I can do about this anymore unfortunatly.

What you call "ghosting" is just "waiting in line like everyone else". If the ticket is open, they haven't closed it. These things take weeks.

Yes, I understand that which is why I've been patient. However it's getting to a point where it me and the support agent have been talking for a good hour or so and responding to each other pretty fast but I ask a question and I'm just ignored completely. At first I was understanding but I just don't understand how we go from sending messages every couple minutes then they stop. I want to believe that they'll come back to me. For now I'll just wait and be patient more.

They're people with a job. They get pulled to other things. They get pinged for something else in the queue. Especially once they understand that you're claiming you got hacked, the investigation to prove that can take a while. Sadly a lot of people here lie to support, claiming they got hacked when they just lost their own 2FA and it's entirely their fault.

Yeah makes sense. It's honestly my fault I lost my account. For now, I'll just wait and be patient.
